I just finished Girl Out of Water by Laura Silverman. It was a really great contemporary and it drops tomorrow! About to start Jellicoe Road by Melina Marchetta. I've heard great things about it, so I'm cautiously optimistic.
I'm currently reading The Fall of Lisa Bellow and it's a bit more slut-shamey and judgmental than I can tolerate
I preordered a book it's coming today. So when that comes in a couple of hours I will be currently reading the Girl out of water, by Laura Silverman
I'm reading Gemina by Amie Kaufman and Jay Kristoff! I painted this when I was reading Illuminae because I loved it so much!

(loving this one just as much as her first book
, maybe even a bit more)Hannah Moskowitz and Kat Helgeson:
(this one is hitting all the nerd girl feels, love it)Cassandra Clare:

Hayley wrote: "Wow if your reading all those at once that'd be the most i've seen anyone read at the same time!"I'm a weird multi-tasker, lol. I'll read at least 5 chapters of a book before placing it down and moving to the next book until I come full circle and then rinse & repeat until I finish all the books in the rotation. I take notes on index cards and paperclip them to relevant sections while reading. Many times, I'll finish a book in one sitting--if it's truly a divine or quick read and I have that kind of free time in a day on hand. I don't have problems with jumbling up stories, events, characters, plot, etc, thanks to notes and also not spending too much time away from the books. I've always read that way; it's a habit from elementary school where I just had to know what was happening in other books even if I hadn't finished the one I was currently reading. I kinda perfected that crazy method when I had to read the ginormous War & Peace (and several other Russian classics) in Russian or specific passages in Russian for studies but also wanted (*needed*) downtime to read other books around the same time for fun/a break, lol.
right now i'm reading crime and punishment by fyodor dostoyevsky and simon vs. the homo sapiens agenda by becky albertalli. after finishing one of them i planning to start either deathless by catherynne m. valente or stalking jack the ripper by kelly maniscalco (for the botm).
Just finished "The Two Family House" by Lynda Cohen Loigman and going to start "My Grandmother Asked Me To Tell You She's Sorry" by Fredrik Backman.
I'm reading The Girl from Everywhere by Heidi Heilig. P.S If there's anyone interested in reading my 'freshly baked' Everything, Everything review, feel free to check it out!
I just finished Rose Petal Graves which was something like 3,5/5 stars. It was good but it lacked depth. Now I´m reading Magnus Chase and the sword of summer. That one feels like 5/5 stars already ;)
I'm trying to finish Crime and Punishment...It's a bucket list book. Then I'm continuing the Shark Wars books. My son and I started with Shark Wars #1 and I got hooked. I gotta find out if this shark finds his mom!
