Just finished Matched, some please tell me if Crossed and Reached are worth reading?? I got bored 60% thru Matched and it took months to pick it back up.
Brianna: I didn't like the first book and never finished it so I never read Crossed, but people say all the time that nothing happens in Crossed and it's just a boring book.

I'm still not done with it but I'm on page 300 and it's been really good so far. Xemerius is so much fun :) I think you should read it, lots of stuff happens

I've been slow abut starting this series. It's pretty good but nothing groundbreaking I'm finding. Still finding it an enjoyable experience though!
I'm reading the Relic Master series by Catherine Fisher. It's pretty good... but I keep returning to The Book of Jonah by December Nolan which is not like anything I've ever read and which blew my mind. I keep re-reading my favorite parts. It deals with some difficult and disturbing subject matter and might turn out to be controversial, but man, it is SO GOOD. I'm dying to talk to someone else who's read it and get some discussion going...The Book of Jonah
Andrea wrote: "Daughter of Smoke and Bone"That is a GREAT book-- one of my favorites of the genre in YEARS. I was disappointed with the following books in the trilogy, but didn't let that tarnish my memory of some really beautiful writing and great character/concepts.
Giochima wrote: "hey ppl i just finished reading, "divergent" and it was great! my problem now is that im undecided on which series of Cassandra Clare read next, infernal devices vs mortal instruments?help!"I actually loved both series! If you like Victorian/steampunk, you might read Infernal Devices first. It takes place first chronologically, though most of the Mortal Instruments series (which is longer) was written first. Mortal Instruments takes place in modern times.
I loved both series so much it's hard to rec one over the other. I also liked the book of short stories that was a companion to both series, The Bane Chronicles.
Enjoy!

I'm not exactly a giant Twilight fan, but the art in that graphic novel makes it worth considering.

Yeah I agree
Reading:
&
. I've read
&
. The names of the books aren't that exciting, but the series is very good! I've read some other Maria V. Snyder books and they were really good too.So far At the Water's Edge is pretty boring. The writing is very dry (page 23).
Joyce wrote: "So far At the Water's Edge is pretty boring. The writing is very dry (page 23). "I feel like there has to be a good joke there about the writing of a book called "At the Water's Edge" being "dry", but I am just too sleepy to connect those dots.
Daphne wrote: "I just started reading Scarlet by Marissa Meyer"It took me a while to really get into Scarlet, but I ended up loving the series.
Just finished
and
. Both are going to stick with me for a long time. These characters have incredible voices!

Loved that book--and everything else Rowell!
Nat wrote: "I just started
and frankly I wish I could not got to work to stay home and read everyday."I loved this book so much!
I'm about halfway through The Stand by Stephen King. I've read so much of what he's written that I'm surprised it took me so long to pick up this book. Love it so far.
I am currently reading Scarlet by Marissa Meyer. I'm about 345 pages in and I'm almost done. I am in love with this book and series altogether so far!

I'm having a hard time finishing the first book but I'm dedicated... I bought all three Infernal Devices books and up to City of Glass with the Mortal Instruments. I figure the Mortal Instruments need a good timing to get started, it just takes awhile.
Finished Girl on the Train last night - I loved it and now I have started Someone Else's Fairy Tale by E.M. Tippetts, so far it's okay but I don't find it amazing...
