message 6135: by Kiya (new)

Kiya | 22 comments I just finished The One and now I'm on page 25 of Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children. I have to say that I've waited a LONG time to read this book. I've had it at my fingertips for as long as I've been waiting, but my reading teacher CONTINUOSLY recommends books for me that she THINKS I will enjoy...and it's hard not to accept them. So I've had to practically speed-read through the stack of books my teacher provides for me JUST so I could finally get to the one I'm reading now. Phew!

I know the feeling. I average about 8 books a month. wonder if I can increase that to 10? I think we'll all become excellent speed readers before long. :)

Yikes. Here's hoping you can find a better book.

I just downloaded all three of the Delirium trilogy and I still need to read Scarlet, The Taking, and finally finish Falls the Shadow.

Also, you've convinced me... I added Falls the Shadow to my want to read shelf. That cover compels me!
