Amy J | 287 comments Well, I just finished reading The Hunger Games. I'm going to start Catching Fire in a bit. I'm also reading Things Fall Apart for school and Jane Eyre on my own. So many things to keep up with in my mind, it hurts! Trying to keep track of storylines as well as what's actually going on in my life plus school work and getting ready for college. AAHH

message 6052: by Carli (new)

Carli Rossi I am reading Girl, Interrupted by Susanna Kaysen. It isn't YA, in fact it is nonfiction but that amazing movie with Winona Rider and Angelina Jolie in a psychiatric hospital is based in this book. Since I loved that movie I thought I'd give it a try and it proved out to be amazing!

Storm Arashi (stormarashi) | 265 comments Still working on Cinder and Taste Test. I'm actually enjoying both quite a bit. Cyborgs and steampunk elements with Cinder and cooking (which is in my blood) with Taste Test. I'm happy.

message 6054: by Sabrina (new)

Sabrina (forebodinq) | 62 comments I'm reading Made For You by Melissa Marr - I thought it would be a bit more exciting than it is, so that's fairly disappointing. I'm also reading Snow Like Ashes, but I'm not very far into it yet.

I sped through Cinder! It's a good book.

Currently reading Champion (Legend, #3) by Marie Lu Champion. The cover art is gorgeous, and this whole story is so compelling in so many different ways.

message 6056: by Julia (new)

Julia (youngbooks) I'm currently reading Crown of Midnight by Sarah J. Maas and it's a really good sequel so far! And the cover art is just so cool and beautiful it definitely goes with the story :D

message 6057: by Carrie (new)

Carrie Gulledge (momtognm) | 40 comments I am going to start Throne of Glass (Throne of Glass, #1) by Sarah J. Maas , I was trying to read Ethereal (Celestra, #1) by Addison Moore , but it is horrible. I read Ephemeral (The Countenance, #1) by Addison Moore and it wasn't too terrible but left a lot of unanswered questions that I hoped would be answered in Ethereal, but I just can't do it. I am going to end up DNF'ing it, it's so bad.

Look at the ratings between the first book between Cinder (4.11), Scarlet (4.31) and Cress (4.49). For me, the ratings are usually a good indication of what the book is going to be like and whether or not I will like the book. I really did think they got much better. But I know what you mean. I think there was a part of Cinder that was a little stagnant.
