My husband doesn't read much, so to spend time together, we pick a book and I read it out loud to him. Right now we're doing the Maze Runner series together. It's really fun!

message 5708: by Carli (new)

Carli Rossi Krystal, that should be fun!
I'd try that with my boyfriend but I read in English mainly and he reads in Spanish. I really like to read exactly what the author meant and not what some translator supposed he meant. I don't know it's my little ocd.
Ps: we live in a spanish- speaking country.
Ps2: I will try with some local authors! Thanks for the idea!

Try The Mortal Instruments series! It's a good long series (6 books, and the last one is over 700 pages long), and there's a side series called The Infernal Devices that's a trilogy, and the characters from it get worked into The Mortal Instruments series. TMI renewed my interest in reading.

Outlander is pretty m..."

I've heard a lot of people say that about Outlander which is great :) I'm only on page 190 but so far it's really good. I thought it was going to be a bit slow at the start and maybe take me a while to get into because of how many pages are in it but so far I've been really captivated by the story, hopefully it stays like that, lol.
