Drew (drewscupoftea) | 27 comments Ruin and Rising (The Grisha, #3) by Leigh Bardugo It's really good! Much better than the second book, which was a disappointment for me.

Attachments by Rainbow Rowell It's good but slow so far.

Measuring Up by Nyrae Dawn This is a really fun chick-lit starring a plus-sized main character. I'm enjoying it a lot.

Dorothy Must Die (Dorothy Must Die, #1) by Danielle Paige The whole book is kind of annoying. I don't know, maybe it's just me. I hope it gets better later on.

Laura (quacktaculaura) | 4 comments David wrote: "What types of books do you like reading Laura?"

I read just about anything. lol. I know that's an awful answer, but I honestly read horror, chick lit, women's fiction, romance, dystopian . . . If it has a great voice, and characters that I care about, I'm game.

David Chattaway | 4 comments That's cool, I'm a bit the same myself. If you like Dystopian a friend of mine has written a book called 'Curve day,' it's an interesting read.

I've just finished reading 'Schism: The Battle for Darracia' it was quite a good read! I'm now reading 'Twisted Illusions,' I've only just started but it seems interesting.

message 5114: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm currently reading Wuthering Heightsfor college and attempting The Maze Runnerfor pleasure but I'm not too sure I'll enjoy it. It started of okay but while I like dystopian futures and was recommended it the books doesn't seem to appeal to me as much to other books in the past few months.

message 5115: by Ricky (new)

Ricky (spider-fan) The Maze Runner seems to be a very Love It Or Hate It deal. I loved it, but it seems like everywhere I turn I see people saying it's bad.

I see what you mean. I read AngelFall long before The Daughter of Smoke and Bone series (which I'm still reading) but I can see how it would be hard to read Angelfall after Daughter. Susan Ee has a much lighter writing style...even humorous, where as Laini Taylor's writing was almost...poetic in a way. Both are good, but just very different takes on a similar subject.
