Last night while watching Chuck, Adam Baldwin's character Casey says "damaging my calm"
How odd for him to have a quote so close to that of Jayne's "she is startin' to damage my calm"

Welcome to the group, Carrie! And thanks for sharing that. I'll have to go watch that episode. I watched Chuck for most of the first season - mostly to see Adam Baldwin. It's a show I don't mind watching, but not enough that I feel like I MUST see every episode.

The show appeases to the nerd side of both myself and my hubby, so we've enjoyed it even into the 2nd season. But you should be able to pull the latest episode down from Hulu when you have the chance.

I'm so bummed I missed Chuck last night. I’m sure that quote was not put there by accident. Either Adam just added it on his own, or one of the writers is a Browncoat and thought it would be funny.

Did any of you watch the Bones episode with Adam Baldwin? It was back in season 1. Also, Gina Torres was just in an episode of Bones. And I missed the Firefly reference, but apparently there was a kid who called Booth a "stupid inbred sack of meat" in Chinese. I'm going to have to rewatch that episode to see that.

This thread title makes me think of in Castle when Beckett and Castle go under cover to catch a drug dealer and she is talking with him and he asks her how she wants to feel and she says "Shinny". Great moment.
