As both a writer and a publisher I've been keeping up with the recent consternation among publishers over constantly adapting distribution technology which seems to be requiring greater and greater exclusivity agreements between writers and distributors of books and content.
Myself and other writers have noted that both writers and readers are suffering from this competitive perspective among book distributors/sellers.
I and others continue to advocate that the two most important factors in publishing continue to be the writer and the reader.
The biggest reason I so love Goodreads, is that it provides a robust and vibrant space to facilitate the connectivity between authors and readers!
