Let's Share Blogs

J.D., we answer the questions on our own blogs not yours, right? thanks carol

That's right, Carol. If you can, insert a link back to my blog at the start and then give links to the authors that you are tagging at the bottom.

It's been awhile. I'd join the blog hop, but just did something like this. Also, only half way through the first draft of my next novel so far too soon to start talking about it. My first drafts are not pretty:0)Please keep us posted on all of your book release dates. I bet your getting excited, Carol!!!
Check out why I wished all a peaceful new year instead of a happy new year this year on my blog, Kick Back Moments http://pstrack.blogspot.com Enjoy! ~ Peggy

I'd love some visitors at Kick Back Moments where there are some ideas about what to do with "525,600 minutes in a year. http://pstrack.blogspot.com

Hi JD,
Here's the post, 'Blog Hopping in the USA'. Anyone get the Debbie Harry reference?
It's a little tongue and cheek, as is my blog, and if that's not appropriate for this feature, let me know - I don't mind taking it down. All the best,
Jasmine

Thanks, Barbara. Glad others feel the same way. I wasn't trying to pretend I was any kind of musical expert so was rather surprised at such vehemous descriptions of my character! But, as I told Mr Anonymous, it makes good blog material.

Jasmine, I love all your posts. If your as books are as funny as your posts are, well, guess I better get in line to buy one!

Thanks Peggy! I will keep on blogging, no matter that others might not appreciate it!

I loved it Jasmine ... it made me laugh!!! Thank you!

Ha! The Anonymous blogger strikes again. Courtesy died a painful death the day anonymous comments were born. But I love your response, Lynn

M.J. for me, Social Networking has enriched my writing life. It does come at a price. The time invested is often difficult to balance with my writing time and the rest of my life

your comment, (And, Mr. Anonymous, I don’t mean to be picky here, but “italian” should be capitalized.)
made me lol. thanks carol www.4broadminds.blogspot.com/

I have a new blog post up about a different type of New Year's Resolution.

Hi Carol!
Yep, time management is where it can go wrong. For me, it's a continued work in progress. The most beneficial use is finding programs such as Hootsuit and Triberr that allow you to keep up a busy social presence by loading and scheduling tweets/blog post shout outs ahead of time, once a day that keep your time lines going without you even being online. Building your network helps with that as well.

I'd like to offer you all interview/guest post/or book feature opportunities on my blog. I do author interviews on Wednesdays (booked until April, but jump on now before it's too late!) and guest post/features Thurs/Friday. Those are easy to schedule since they are usually used for promotions.I would need at least 2 weeks notice to be sure the day is open. If your interested, email me at mjkanebooks@yahoo.com and I'll get you in. As you see my blog has moved! So happy! Check me out at authormjkanebooks.wordpress.com. I look forward to hearing from you!
MJ

Just read your post and it lifted my spirits. My first novel will be published this year and everything I'm reading says, get blogging before your book is published, network, network, now, now, now. I'm hopeless at this networking business. It's a real minefield if you don't know where to begin but I can see how it will pay off if I just keep going. Who knows, one day I might even get a 'comment' on my blog. How sad am I.

J.D., thanks again for tagging 4broadminds.blogspot.com/ in The Next Great Blog Hop. My answers, giving a peek inside my upcoming novel Peace by Piece, are posted at http://www.4broadminds.blogspot.com/2...

M.J. great offer. Sent you an email from me this morning :)

That guy needs to get a life.

Carol- enjoyed your post. Always love the insight into other's creative process.
M.J.- thanks for the offer!
Peggy- good luck with the writing and inevitable editing.
Lynn- I can't believe the nerve of snarky anonymous commenters.
Hope every one is having a good Thursday!

Recently joined this group and looking forward to reading as many blogs as I can! I'm here http://franclark.blogspot.co.uk/
Happy to follow you if you follow me, just let me know!

Thanks for dropping by Carol. I will visit your blog as soon as I can. Yes keeping it simple works for me as a reader. As a writer I let myself get tongue-tied just trying to get impact. Less is more a lot of the time. That all important verb isn't always easy to pluck from the sky when you need it most, I know.
