Thank you Jeanette for the comment! And yes I did enjoy yours. I'll post my comment here because for some reason, I could't on yours:
Wow, that was an amazing story! IMO, nurses don't get the justice and appreciation that they deserve. Yes there are some that don't have that 'bedside manner', but I have run across a few that have gone above and beyond! I spent some time in the hospital a few years ago and have a combination of both. There was one nurse, a male nurse, who went above and beyond to encourage me to improve and not give up. A few months later, once I recovered and was able to go back to the hospital, I made a special trip to find him with a card to show my appreciation for his encouragement and love...for someone he didn't even know. Unfortunately it was his day off, but I made sure the nurse on staff passed that card and my thanks too him. Whenever I think about that hospital stay, I think of him. Thank you so much for sharing P.K.'s story and I wish her much continued success with her programs.

Have to chuckle after reading your blog. Yes, it is only a word that has negative connotations to the ill informed. Just like the word 'interdependent' which I addressed in this blog post: http://thebutterflymemoirs.blogspot.c...
But one thing is for sure, you got some attention! I'm pretty sure somebody who wanted the other type of book my have brought it anyway!

Thanks for stopping by.

Really enjoyed your post and your title, Jaqueline.

Chapter 2 is an introduction to the male lead of the story, Brian Young, the sexy bass guitarist in the band, Diverse Nation. "So, did she meet him in VIP?" Get the answer today.....

Do you go out of your way to help them reach their dreams? How important is it to you that your mate support your life goals? Be it a new job, a life changing career, or the decision to move away from their family and closer to yours. How important is it to you that you have their support in return?

Ebony didn't meet him at the club after all. But isn't it funny how life can put something good for you in your path, even if its not what you expected? If it keeps showing up, then you should probably pay it some attention.

I'm with an epubl,5 Prince Publishing. If you have heard of Bernadette Marie and Carmen DeSousa, it's the same press. I'm honored to be welcomed into the fold!
After 3 years (well, September makes year 4)of learning the craft of writing (which never ends) I finally got encouraged to push my 'baby' out into the world and start querying. After aver 40 rejections and an agent who liked it but had to ask me how to sell it, 5P made an offer and I've been blessed with an editor who loves the story as much as I do. I had neared the point of wanting to self pub, but financially do not have the money to put into it doing it the best way possible. My family pushed me not to give up on querying and thank god I listened!

Good luck and I wish you the best, which ever way your journey takes you!

I am proud to announce that my first novel, A Heart Not Easily Broken, will be published September 20th, and will be available in eBook, followed by paperback on October 4th. My book is a combination of Interracial Romance, Contemporary Romance, and Women's Fiction. The book is also the first in a 6 book series entitled, The Butterfly Memoirs. To learn more about me and the series, visit my book blog. Here I post about topics relevant to the stories and enjoy listening and commenting on your feedback. Today I am sharing the link to the blog for this weeks Six Sunday post. The first chapter of the novel is also available for you to read. I look forward to hearing your comments and making new friends!

As publication day nears, #SixSunday is winding down! 24 days and counting! The start of the last four post starts today! We're back to Ebony's POV!
After meeting sexy bass guitarist, Brian Young, at a nightclub during a Girl's Night Out with her friends, and ignoring his attempt to get to know her, she figured she'd never see him again. Two days later, he shows up at her house, hired by her roommate to cut their grass. Discovering there is more to the blue-eyed hunk than sexy hands on a guitar is an eye opener. How will she respond?

Thank you Ann! Glad you love the title! It speaks so much as to what my characters go through in this story!

He didn’t hide the fact his gaze started at my bare legs and slowly traveled back up. His expression made his thoughts apparent.

Hi Carol ~ I totally related to your post. In fact, I could have written it. I finally self-published and am getting incredible reviews (not to brag). Just confused why it never received that head nod from an agent. Like, M.J., my release date is 9/20 on Amazon (both paperback & Kindle). No matter what the sales, I'm glad I went for it. I love having my story in a book. Keep us posted on your progress with your writing. I love author stories. ~ Peggy
