Ok, so you know the author name can't that help you know what book you're looking for? As in search the authors name for books he wrote so you know what to look for?
Yep, google definitely becomes your best friend fast. Just put in everything you can remember about the book. Even how it looks and look at the images and see if you can find out what it looks like, which will lead you to a site...blah blah blah, you can do the rest :)
