Elizabeth (starsky) | 41 comments My book is FINALLY in transit from the library. So maybe I'll actually be able to start it by the end of the month.

Hopefully I have better luck next month

message 180: by Buddy (new)

Buddy | 42 comments I finished two books for this challenge. Two people got to pick for me :) lucky me!

Night Road by Kristin Hannah Night Road

The Angel Experiment (Maximum Ride, #1) by James Patterson The Angel Experiment

Night Road was a really good book! My throat got a lump in it a few times .. had a "Lifetime Movie" feel to it, but it wasn't overly "chick-flicky". I'd recommend to anybody looking for a sad story, with a happy ending. I would especially recommend to parents of high schoolers, or kids in high school.

The Angel Experiment was more of an early teen book, and a quick read. I won't be reading the other books in the series. I'd recommend to middle schoolers.

message 183: by Cindy (new)

Cindy Rawlings | 217 comments @Buddy, I'm so glad you enjoyed Night Road! Kristin Hannah's books are amazing. Each one deals with different situations and are not just dealing with teens. I just finished Home Front and it was an awesome story. :)

Gabriela @Mallory Anne-Marie

I finished the book and I have to say that I really liked it. I kept getting interrupted during my lunch break with people asking me if it was as good as the movie :) I meant to post the review yesterday but some things came up. Here is my review:
