Jace, Clary, and Simon

How is this even slightly considerd a love triangle?

I love Simon as a character. He's funny, loyal, sweet, and smart, but I don't ship him with Clary. The way I see it, a lot of people view romantic love as better or more important than friendship love. I disagree with that and think that if Simon has the characteristics of a good friend, then he can continue to be a good friend for Clary. She already has Jace as a romantic partner, and he has Izzy, and I stand by those ships.

Simon is sweet and kind and caring. He loves Clary so much because they've grown up together and because of that he's developed feelings for her.
Jace however didn't know her and yet he falls in love with her knowing practically nothing about her except that she was a Mundane and had no idea about the Shadow-world.

Jace and Clary are much better suited in my opinion. Clary can be quite headstrong, and Simon seems really soft. So I think that would be a problem in their relationship if they stayed together. He'd want to keep Clary safe and that would start to annoy her as she'd want to be out there fighting demons and not cuddled up on the sofa playing D&D.

And whilst Jace and Clary are both very headstrong. They keep one another in line. Jace knows that if Clary says she's going to do something she is going to do it. Nothing will change her mind and so he goes along too to keep her safe and have her back. Same with Jace. If he's going to go into a battle Clary is going to go with him whether he likes it or not. So the headstrong isn't one way. And so they are compatible like that and can see what its like from one another's view and frame of mind.

Simon is a good freind and has saved the day multiple times but to be honest I don’t like him that much (I’m sorry...) WOOOHOOO JACE AND CLARY I LOVE YOU. - yes I am obsessed with this series

I absolutely agree, Simon and Clary never had any romantic or sexual chemistry anyway.

The romance between Jason Clary is what originally got me hooked on ya romance, so there will never be a couple that measures up. Jace is just so awesome and incredible and who else here hates the TV show that they made out of Shadowhunters?

that is what tv shows do, they make you really mad like alec denying his feeling for magnus.

I found it so so, I think it has its flaws but isn't a terrible show either. I guess they took the book and changed it as they pleased and saw fit.
Magnus and Alec were really cute in the show tho

I’ll admit that Alec and Magnus were Way cuter in the TV show, but I really didn’t like the actress who played Clary and the random unnecessary changes they made to the plot

This love triangle is just so difficult. I mean like Simon loves Clary and Clary loves Jace but she loves Simon too(not like she loves Jace of course but more like a brother) and I felt pity for Simon and Clary and Jace all of them.
But I am glad Simon found Isabelle , I love Simon and Isabelle

I love Jace and Simon but for different reasons. If Clary and Simon had ended up together, they would've been the perfect friends to lovers. Clary would have married her best friend and they would have been happy together. Jace was the one to sweep Clary off her feet with his moments of kindness and tenderness, he'd go to the ends of the earth to protect her, he'd do anything for her. I love Jace and Clary together. Jace has saved Clary's life many times and Clary asked the angel to bring Jace back. They're so perfect together.

Side note: I've kind of shipped Simon with Izzy because I love their banter and I like them together.
