Well Will and Jem are both destined to die at some point (view spoiler)[unless once of them becomes a silent brother (hide spoiler)].
I feel like I'll be crying a lot in this book and some of that might be because it's the last book about Will and Tessa and Jem.
I find it kind of funny that we are coming up with the saddest possible endings for this book.

He isn't immortal...so he has to die eventually maybe not in the book but since he's human he kind of has to die at some point

Well i know this sounds bad but if jem dies (sounds more likely with all the spoilers going around) then its will and tessa but they will have guilt and there is no way (in my mind) that will (who loves Jem) will betray him in his death bed! (gosh they are ENGAGED!) and in those times its serious business getting engaged it basically meant they were definitely getting married. nowadays its more open.

So i doubt they will get together (it pains me to say so) because it will seem as if they were waiting for him to die to get together! (unless something major happens, which i am hoping for.)

so if they cant be together, then i think i'd bear his death better than him and tessa not being able to be together.

also i think cassie will kill will off (i sound so cold saying that... :( ) and not give tessa a chance to choose. Because she's made it out that she loves both equally so its probably impossible to choose from two people you love equally. so i dont see her choosing, so something must happen so that she cant choose. so it makes sense that they both die.

Okay here's my theory SPOILERS if you haven't read CLOCKWORK PRINCE!!!!



I recon Clare might kill Jem, Will will be so torn up with guilt that his feelings for Tessa feel wrong, and this guilt will mean that he becomes a silent brother so that he dosen't betray Jem and give in to his feelings for Tessa. OR Tessa says she can't be with him because it would feel like betraying Jem and so he see's no point and joins the silent brothers.
What do you think?

I feel like Jem becomes a silent brother and Will dies but somewhere along the line they both have to have children unless Jem has some long lost brother or sister and if Cecily gets married then she won't have the last name Herondale unless she has a child without marrying...

And having a child without getting married was a big no no back then which was why when Nate was born tessas mother called him her son instead so to save her sister the backlash. It doesn't make sense

I loved Simon. He is warm,loyal, and funny. I think Clary dated him because he was stable and she needed stable in her life at the time. Clary wanted passion and excitement and she may have loved Simon but not enough to date him. Jace and Clary just had a passionate connection from the start and nothing and no one was going to stop those two from happening.

I'm probably gonna get massive hate from this but I'm not a huge fan of Jace. I just don't love him the way I do other fictional boys. There are certain traits of his I like, but he doesn't seem like he is meant to have a relationship. He seems like a loner to me. (I've only read the first 4 books)
That being said, I liked Clary and Simon together, but it was too fragile to be a long term relationship.
