I know I should do that, but I'm still a dead tree addict.

There were just too many of them. I feel guilty as h*** for not listing them all at PBS, but that would be way too much postage for points I'd never use. I also unloaded a lot of my inventory that's been sitting around on my list at PBS for two plus years with no nibbles. I need space.

Good luck. I've been having the same problems and very glad I set my goal lower. I'm almost there, but it's been giving me the crankies trying to concentrate on it.

I've got plenty of library books that I want to read and get back out of the house, and the challenge isn't helping the housekeeping in that area. At least I got quite a few read from 2011 and earlier. More than half my goal. Go me.

Misfit | 198 comments You did fine. What I think we need is a support group to stop us from getting more :p

PS, I spotted a big FOL on the 4th. This is new, the Friends of the librar have a big sale as part of the city's 4th of July bash. Parking will suck, but they say the books haven't been picked over.

Dawn (& Ron) (furryreaders) | 456 comments Say it aint so, but totally understand. I keep going back and forth between library books and TBR, plus the books I'm reading for my niece's book club which has been amped up to a whole new level since they will now be part of their homeschooling agenda.

Misfit, you aren't kidding that parking will suck, I imagine traffic won't be great either. See what we are willing to go through for books! Normally big crowds and we stay clear but something like that, well it's totally different.

Misfit | 198 comments Dawn, thankfully they open the book sale at 8AM so it might not be so bad. I just can't resist though.

Aww... I'm sorry, but I too understand.

Stop by every now and then to say hello!

That does make a difference you should be out of there before any of the big crowds come in for the fireworks. At least you should be able to still have them since you aren't caught up in the heat wave that are causing many firework displays to be cancelled across the country. Frankly we'd be relieved if they were all cancelled here, for the furry kids and because we get them every night from the Disney parks and Universal Studios.

Misfit | 198 comments @ Dawn. I'm not even sure if there are fireworks in the evening at this park, but neither here nor there there is no heat wave on this corner of the US. Most of the cities have pretty strict regulations on use, but folks just keep on breaking the rules anyway :/

MichelleCH (lalatina) In Denver no fireworks and no outdoor charcoal grills...the crackdown was impressive, very little to no breaking the rules there.

Yay, at least some people realized that the Founding Fathers actually won't be spinning in their graves if there are no noisy technicolor explosions in the night sky.

Really, guys, America will survive this time of tribulation. We've got a couple more years before the Mayan prediction comes true to enjoy your fireworks. :P
