Feel free to add me if you like talking about books and we have something in common!

Hello Braelyn! :D
I highly recommend the Cinder series if you're interested in Sci-fi Fantasy. For action thriller, I suggest the Maze Runner or Legend series. If you like stories with angels/demons I recommend Blood&Bone, Blue Bloods, or Fallen. For purple prose stories: Shatter Me and The Star-Touched Queen. If you fancy some extreme fantasy I suggest Red Queen series, Ember in the Ashes, Throne of Glass series, The Night Circus (not YA but worth it), Young Elites series, Fallen Kingdoms series, Tiger's Curse series, Graceling, The Selection series, and the Iron Fey series!
Sorry to bombard you with this list LOL. I get excited when people ask for recommendations

I am from Greece and my favorite thing to do as many of you might have guessed is reading books. My addiction with reading started many years ago when a copy of harry potter was given to me as a birthday present. Ever since then my love for books has spread to every literary genre but i am sure i will always go back and find comfort in the genre i first began to read: Young - Adult

I love reading YA books, mostly fantasy, and yes, i'm a little bit addicted which is why i joined this group ;)
Some of my favourite books are the Starbound- trilogy, the Infernal Devices and Starcrossed.
Therefore Cassandra Clare counts to my favourite authors, as well as Amie Kaufman. I also like Sabaa Tahir and Veronica Rossi.
I look forward to discuss books with you, have a nice day!

Really happy to be part of this group. I hope I can find some hidden gem books through this group~ :D

I love pnr and dystopia/post apocalypse...
my favorite apocalypse book is In The After by Demetria Lunetta...I don't read alien books unless I absolutely have to....and another one of my favs is Existence by Abbi Glines...

I am open for new book suggestions and would like to meet new people with the same passion and love for reading. :)

Full disclosure upfront here, I am an author.
Some books I've recently read: Wild, Miss Peregrine's home for Peculiar Children, The Prince of Tides, The Book Thief, All The Light We Cannot See, The Hobbit, Adventures of Huckleberry Finn, The Forever Watch, The Orenda, Navajos Wear Nikes, and Travels With Charley. I have pretty varying tastes in fiction and literature, as you can see. I'm currently reading East of Eden, by John Steinbeck, and Dull Knifes of The Pine Ridge, by Joe Starita (both are X-so-lent!).
One of my books, THE REZ's EDGE, is here on GoodReads: https://www.goodreads.com/book/show/3...
REZ's EDGE is about growing up as a white kid next to an Indian Reservation with American Indian friends, enemies, and classmates. That was my life back in the 1970's; disco, heavy metal, rock and roll, bell bottom jeans, and racism. The book, though, is fictional. I just used a lot of things from my past in it's creation.
I write to pull one into the shoes and body of my characters. I want my readers living an alternate life when they are engulfed in my books. I spell this out further in my BIO (About Brad Jensen), which you'll find right next to my book description. Give it a read, if you want.
If anyone has any killer recommendations for a YA coming of age or youth adventure novels, I'm all ears. Drop me a note!
If you're interested in reading two pre-released chapters in THE REZ's EDGE for free, you can do that on my website here:
http://bradjensen.wixsite.com/authorb...
Just scroll down and click the "Membership Access" button, underneath the Indian Powwow Boy.
THE REZ's EDGE is not yet published, but I'm working on that issue right now. I'll be shouting about it when it is released. Wish me luck.
Stay Adventurous & Keep READING!

Hello, I'm Sharon and I love to read. Unfortunately, life got in the way of my reading and I haven't been doing much reading. This year I vowed to get back to my reading, and have been thoroughly enjoying reading again. My favorite type of books are dystopian books. I don't really have a favorite author, because I am still discovering who is out there. However, my favorite childhood author was Judy Blume, and my favorite childhood book was "Are you There God it's me Margaret?"

I just started reading this book on Kindle and it is easily becoming my favorite read!

Hi there Kayla. I'm a new author who has published his first book. It's been well-received and I wanted to bring it to your attention. I also make every effort to talk to anyone who reads it. The characters are very rich and I've had some great conversations with people of all ages. Anyway, thought I'd let you know it exists. (The ebook is a GREAT price!) Merrett's Gift

Keep up the good work. I have the utmost respect for avid readers. Always cool people!

I adore YA books but I do pretty much read anything from NA, YA to a nice, fluffy chick lit. I enjoy anything that's adventurous, exciting, hopeful and romantic. My favourite author is Sarah J Maas, I will read anything she writes and she is my queen.
Thanks for having me!

it's nice to meet you all :)

I'm Seema, and I LOVE reading! My favorite series are the Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew. Besides reading, I love writing on my diary.
Looking forward joining this group! :)

If you're into YA have you tried Neil Gaiman's Graveyard Book, Terry Pratchett's The Wee Free Men, or anything by Cassandra Clare? And not (yet!) one of my all time favourite writers, but lots of people love Sarah Maas.
Check out some of the free reads too - there are so many great writers who aren't known yet. Or go mad and look my series up (there are a few more reviews on Amazon than here yet).
Enjoy!
