Well, I love mainly fantasy books, but I also like fiction, mystery, thriller/suspense, and romance (but not chick-lit). I find it very hard to choose a favorite author or book, because I have to many favorites.
I like Harry Potter, The Hunger Games, Divergent, Starcrossed, Maze Runner. I'm currently reading The Mortal Instruments, by Cassandra Clare.
If anyone has any good books to recommend, feel free to do it! :)

I'm 24 and live in Virginia. I am currently applying to grad school for physician assistant and decided to get back into reading now that I'm off school. I love the YA genre and tend to gravitate towards adventure/dystopian/action books, although supernatural stories get mixed in time to time (just no vampires...I'm over the vampire stories). =)

I am Mehsi, and I have been looking around for a new YA group to join, and this one seems like a really fun one. :)
Since I joined, I guess it is easy to deduce that I love YA, but of course I also read other stuff that isn't YA. I love finding new books, and also new genres to enjoy and read.
My favourite book of all time would be Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell.
I got a whole bunch of favourite authors: Morgan Matson, Hillary Monahan, Lemony Snicket, Terry Pratchett, Louise Rennison, Sarah Dessen, and many more.
I will soon look through the topics a bit more closely, and can't wait to participate in various things. :)

My favourite series is the Percy Jackson series and my favourite book is Percy Jackson and the Last Olympian. Obviously my favourite author is Rick Riordan but I also like Cassandra Clare, J.K. Rowling, Brandon Mull and many more :)

I'm a massive bookworm. I adore YA books and have a very hard time putting one down whenever I'm in the progress of reading one. My all time favorite series of books would have to be The Vampire academy series, The immortal instruments and The Firebird series. My all time favorite book is The adventures of Alice in Wonderland by Lewis Caroll! I grew up reading the book and it just fascinates me so much, Another would be City of Heavenly Fire because THE FEELS! (I don't want to go into it without giving away spoilers)
Favorite authors would be Cassandra Clare, Claudia Gray and Richelle Mead.
I'm always up for recommendations and making some book buddies!

I agree they're some of the best series

I live in the Netherlands and I love to read, It's had for me to choose a favorite book because I like most books. But if I have to choose I think that I wil go for the serie Shatter me, the serie City of bones and for the serie Sweet evil. My favorite authors are Cassandra Clare and Tahereh Mafi.

Some of my favorite books are The Mara Dyer Series and Dorothy Must Die series. I really don't have a favorite author but I do like R.L. Stine, Michelle Hodkin, and James Patterson.

As for my favourite books, I have many: Harry Potter series, Born To Run (Chris MacDougall), In Defense of Food (Michael Pollan), Jemima J (Jane Green), and Saint Anything (Sarah Dessen). I have just discovered Kasie West and just ploughed through 3 of her books this weekend so another new favourite author which is very exciting.

My favorite book (as of this very moment, anyways) is The Perks of Being a Wallflower. It's very cliche, I know, but I can't part with it. It's either that or Fangirl by Rainbow Rowell; that being said, Rainbow Rowell is unashamedly my favorite author, as well as Sarah J. Maas and Jane Austen.

Oh, and my favorite book of all time is probably Their Eyes Were Watching God by Zora Neale Hurston. Such a beautiful story of love and empowerment.
