Well, I'm a girl and I love those books, but that doesn't necessarily make it a girly book. It depends what you're comfortable with. The "romance" is pretty intense and from a girls perspective so probs would be different to a boys perspective. I wouldn't call it a "girly" book bc it's definitely not a weakling book but POV would be pretty different.

Hey all, I'm Carly. My genre of choice is fantasy (some urban, mostly high) and I don't care if it's YA or adult. Some of my favorite authors include Cassandra Clare, Lynn Flewelling, Tamora Pierce, Juliet Marillier, and Brandon Sanderson (literally just wrapped up The Hero of Ages, and that trilogy was all sorts of EPIC). As for favorite books...please don't make me decide. If I gave it a 5* rating, then it's probably on the list. Same with the 4*, but not always!

Mostly I use Goodreads to help keep track of my books, but also to see what's trending and how books track with readers. (Hence how I ran into Marie Lu's books...which I don't hate, but I'm not about to give any glowing reviews. Not bashing anyone who likes her! I'm just not the hugest fan.)

Hi Monica my names Amanda it's lovely to meet you! Jennifer L. Armentrout is my FAVOURITE right now!! Have you read the Lux series? I'm on the third book the now it is amazing I read shadows which is a book I should have read first before reading the first Lux book but it still made sense it was so heartbreaking. I also have her Dark Elements series here and have read the Bitter Sweet Love to give me an idea before I start and I loved it, her writing is amazing I find myself getting lost in her books.

Armentrout Lux series it is amazing you should give it a go if you haven't already read it. I'm going to move onto the Lunar Chronicles after I have finished this series how did you find it?
