I'm Annemarie (short: Anni), 17 and from Germany :)
I'm totally obsessed with fantasy (especially if there are dragons involved) and YA contemporary novels!
And I'm totally excited to be a part of this group :D

I'm Kamila (or Camillie) and I'm form Poland ;)
My favorite thing in the world is reading (obviously... ;) ) and also traveling and learning languages!
I read mostly YA fantasy, dystopian or paranormal but I like contemporary - especially during summertime :)
I don't have one favorite book but right now I'm in love with Lunar Chronicles (currently reading Cress <3), Ask the Passengers, Monument 14 trilogy, The Darkest Minds, Jenny Han and Stephanie Perkins' books.
Nice to meet you all! :D

Great to meet all you fellow bookworms!

I love YA and I can't wait to see what 2016 in terms of reading some amazing books!

I'm Linda, I just launched a new YA Paranormal/Fantasy novel called A Raven's Touch on Dec. 25.
I'm a huge fan of strange books. I'd have to say Philip K Dick and Stephen King are my ultimate favourite writers. Also, I'm a fan of: Peter Straub, Kurt Vonnegut, Ray Bradbury, John Wyndham, and I could go on.
I've read all of Laini Taylor, and loved Leigh Bardugo's books. I'm looking forward to reading Six of Crows.
As you can see I'm from Canada wit the spelling of favourite. I hope to meet a lot of like minded people who have great recommendations and who may find my book kinda cool.

I'm Monique, hello, I'm hoping to get right back into reading and hopefully I can pick up book wants, to go in my pile from this group.
My favourite author is Cathy Glass.

Hey! My name's John, and I'm kinda new to reading. I haven't read that many books but I have read the typical YA best sellers (TFIOS, for example, a few more about John Green, and others authors).
My favorite author so fast would be Rick Riordan. I've read all the books in Percy Jackson and Heroes of Olympus saga. I'm about to start The Sword of Summer.
Favorite book, that's rough. But so far I'd say The Last Olympian from Rick Riordan, but I have others I love, like Mockingjay.
Nice to meet y'all!

My name is Astrid, I'm kinda new to this thing, I am a blogger and I am hoping to read more books than I have before.

David Nessipbekov is my name. I peruse everything, I mean everything by Brandon Sanderson. My favorite book ATM is Catch-22 by Jose Heller :P I mean for a hilarious war book it's way too deep. Also I am into everything popular, YA, and above 4 stars :D which is a flaw, but whatevs. Also for the next person: Is Throne of Glass hekka girlish, cuz thats what I heard, something like girl-interest-where-the-boys'-stuff-at?

Well, I'm a girl and I love those books, but that doesn't necessarily make it a girly book. It depends what you're comfortable with. The "romance" is pretty intense and from a girls perspective so probs would be different to a boys perspective. I wouldn't call it a "girly" book bc it's definitely not a weakling book but POV would be pretty different.

Mostly I use Goodreads to help keep track of my books, but also to see what's trending and how books track with readers. (Hence how I ran into Marie Lu's books...which I don't hate, but I'm not about to give any glowing reviews. Not bashing anyone who likes her! I'm just not the hugest fan.)

That's all for now. Nice to meet you all. :D

Hi Monica my names Amanda it's lovely to meet you! Jennifer L. Armentrout is my FAVOURITE right now!! Have you read the Lux series? I'm on the third book the now it is amazing I read shadows which is a book I should have read first before reading the first Lux book but it still made sense it was so heartbreaking. I also have her Dark Elements series here and have read the Bitter Sweet Love to give me an idea before I start and I loved it, her writing is amazing I find myself getting lost in her books.
