I'm Chris Stevenson out of Alabama, and I've been writing for 36 years, having been published in book form in the past 25 years--ten titles. I write SF, fantasy, horror, paranormal romance, thriller and just recently YA. My first published YA was embraced rather well and I actually wrote the YA/NA category by accident. My next two YA books, a soft SF thriller and a portal fantasy received a total of 16 contract offers. My agent sold one and we're trying to sell the second one to the highest bidder. I believe that the incredible success of these two last titles has plunged me into the YA trend for a long time, if not for life. We'll see how it pans out.
