My name is Pamela and I'm a Bookaholic!
I'm also a Biker, a Horse Lover, a Beach-brat and a new self-published author. Thank you for allowing me access to the group. Not too many genres that I'm not interested in, pretty much depends on my mood and what I can get my hands on. Although, I have to admit I have spent the last year writing and self-publishing, so reading was placed on the back-burner for a time. I am ready to publish book two in my Biker Saga fiction series and then I'm taking a break and picking up a good book to enjoy. Suggestions would be appreciated, I would like to find a few good reads to immerse myself in over the holidays. Fantasy and Sci-fi come to mind, but a good comedy would also be appreciated. Oh, and I'm partial to dragons too...what say you?
Read Often,
PMS

It's definitely impossible to narrow down to one favorite author or book, but like most people I'd have to go with Harry Potter! Looking for Alaska is my favorite standalone, followed closely by The Perks of Being a Wallflower. John Green and Kate Brian are probably my top favorite authors.

I also have a blog : noemiesbookblog.blogspot.com

Jennifer and I love reading YA novels so much we wrote our own novel in the present tense and featured late teen protagonists. It seems utilizing all the media possibilities in our marketing will be a challenge equal to the writing effort. Just reading your messages here in this group tells us we are at home in this genre.

hmm.... lets see
fave authors....
Cassy Clare obv. lol(:
Stephanie Perkins
Rick Yancy
Victoria Shwab
...i love paranormal books... but books about like... illbess or mental issues freak me out
(still trying to suck it up and get into the Mara Dyer series)
i like a little bit of everything when it comes to books... YA is just my favorite... lol(:
so.... oh duh sorry im 23 (forgot that bit....) and uhm yeah....
k... lates peeps(:

I just recently finished Clockwork Prince by Cassandra Clare. I absolutely fricking loved it, so I guess it is safe to say that Cassandra Clare is one of my favourite authors and with that TID and TMI are both my favourite series of all times. I just recently got back into my reading habit, so I yet have to explore and read more series which I'm sure I will love just as much.
PS: I'm also a huge J.K. Rowling fan! - who's not?^^
A little bit about myself.
-I'm from London.
-I love travelling - I've had the pleasure to visit 12 countries so far.
-I'm a polyglot.
-I love food.
-I am somewhat into anime.
-I love mountain climbing.
and..
I am a BOOK-A-HOLIC
That's all for now.

After that, I love hunger games, divergent ( not allegent, no.), gone girl and anything to do with Stephen king. ( yeah, I love thriller) The fault in our stars I like, but got bored in other John Green books somehow. Currently I'm reading Misery by stephen king.
Note:
I have an addiction of collecting wrappers, movie tickets, pictures etc. I just throw them into a plastic jar. My jar of things.
Yes, I know. It's unusual.

Deciding a favourite book is definitely difficult but I would have to choose Ruby Red by Kerstin Gier, but after that it would probably be The Child Thief by Gerard Brom and the entire Anna and the French Kiss series. My favourite author is Kim Wilkins as I realised that I wanted to be an author after reading her Gina Champion series.
It's lovely to meet you all C:

I plan on using this group to discover new authors/titles I wouldn't find otherwise, and since YA fanfic is all I have been reading for over a year, I figured this is the place I should be. I look forward to interacting some more with you all. :)

I absolutely love YA books and they are the majority of what I read. My favourite book out (so far) is TFIOS!!
:)

And please feel free to send me book suggestions and friend invites. :):)

waiting room is the newest song by them, right? So glad that I actually found someone who listen to the same genre as me!!! My favorite post hardcore band have to be Pierce The Veil, A Day To Remember, La Dispute & Of Mice And Men. How about you? :-)

I really want to read beautiful creatures.
Ps: my hobby is collecting wrappers.

Hey! I'm Latesha and I love the Infernal Devices series and the Selection series. My favorite authors are J.K. Rowling and John Green :)

Have a fantastic day :)

What other music do you like? I love Nirvana. :D

Back when Family Values tour was going on, I seen flyleaf live. They were amazing. Her voice is like no other

Nice! It seems like we like a lot of the same bands. One of my favorites has to be the Misfits. And I mean the Glenn Danzig Misfits. Not this new age Jerry stuff.
There are sometimes I wish I had a time machine to go back and see all these amazing bands from the 80's. I grew up listening to all that.

Fight Club is my thing. When it came out, I was kind of obsessed. My next tattoo will be a Fight Club One. :D

I live close to Chicago and I go to Riot Fest every year. Thats where I seen Iggy and the Stooges and Flag (new black flag)

And in regards to seeing Iggy and the Stooges, I am Jack's sulking jealousy."
I was really close to the stage. That was Riot Fest 2012

I lost all hope in new female singers until I seen her live. She speaks to your soul.

I'm looking forward to getting to know some of you and fangirling over our mutual love of all things YA!
