Hey my name is Ashley. I love reading and always have sometimes I feel like books are all I have to talk about. So after debating for months I finally started my own book blog and even though it is scary I am really enjoying it and working hard to get the blog to where I would like it to be. I do more than just book reviews I do date ideas to go along with the book. Recipes that are inspired by the book I am reading at the time. Hi, I'm Gretchen. Even though I'm a dedicated Potterhead, I never would have considered myself "addicted to YA" until I was visited with a story idea and...voila, I'm now a YA author. So I'm soaking up all I can in my new genre. I know To Kill a Mockingbird by heart, practically, and was raised on Tolkein & Narnia books. Modern authors? Love everything by John Green. Of the Hunger Games series: Book 1 WOW, Book 2 yay, Book 3...not so much. ADORED The Book Thief and Sherman Alexie's Absolutely True Diary of a Part-Time Indian, but I wouldn't call 'em strictly YA. Brent Hartinger's Geography Club is wonderful. I like low fantasy, but I am tired of vampires and zombies.
Hello Everyone! My name is Karen. I love books and could spent my whole day reading if I didn't have to go to eat, sleep, work, etc. I enjoy just about all genera but tend to enjoy YA a bit more. I like series more than single volume books and tend to get lost in the world of the series I read. Some of my favorite series are Harry Potter, Percy Jackson as well as the Heroes of Olympus, and Hunger Games. I hope that by joining this book club I will be able to find more books and authors to enjoy!

I'm a big fan of John Green, Jeaniene Frost, Susan Ee, Rainbow Rowell, Ellen Hopkins, Ally Carter, Maggie Stiefvater, Janet Evanovich, Kaori Yuki, Bisco Hatori, Mayu Shinjo, and Akihisa Ikeda. My name is Megan. Even though I am not a teen anymore I am still in love with young adult books. Even more so these past few years. I finally figured out it's okay to like the weird stuff (Harry Potter, Mortal Instruments, Across the Universe, Beautiful Creatures, etc.) and it is a part of who I am. I have even branched out and watched some of the different action, sci-fi movies that my mom and sister think I am weird for lol. I don't have a favorite book, I can't choose! There are too many! Right now I am reading City of Lost Souls in The Mortal Instruments and have completely fallen in love with this series. I didn't know if I would find one I liked more than Harry Potter, but I have found several since then.Anyway, I am new to goodreads and hope I can fiure all of this out soon.
