I love those books that you just get lost in. Where you're telling yourself you can only read one page at 7:30pm then BOOM! It's 2:45am and you're still saying "One more page."
I love J.K. Rowling, Suzanne Collins, Cassandra Claire, Cathy Cassidy and many, many more.

Overall, my favourite book is Harry Potter and The Deathly Hallows.
I adore all the HP books but the last one really got to me.

My name is Skelton Rickerby and I'm the author of a series of books called Growing Pains of a Teenage Werewolf. My major problem is that I have had to change my target audience from teens to older teens: 18+ with warnings. I wanted to create a series where although the main romance is a paranormal romance everything else is pretty realistic including teenage sex between younger teens. Due to Amazon'z rules I was afraid of running foul of them and have had to self censor by changing the ages of my main protaganists. Would I be better to go back to my original plan but more or less cut out the sex or what? Sales have so far been very disappointing and i think I have fallen between two different intentions.

I joined this site because I love reading fantasy/ mainstream fiction and wanted to connect with like minded people. My friends would describe me as shy hehehe but once i get going i can be a bit of a chatterbox :):)

What else....well... I like books by C.S Lewis, JRR Tolkien and Stephanie Meyer among others. At the moment I am reading a interesting book titled Emanuel Stone And The Phoenix Shadow by Isaac Solomon. It was recommended to me by a close friend and I must admit I wasn't expecting much. However to my surprise I've found it to be a very deep story about hope, following the journey of an ordinary young man who is coming to grips with his identity in a troubled world. So far it is the most entertaining book I've read this year as it mixes many themes and challenges certain stereotypes held of young people by addressing issues not usually attributed to youth.

My name is John, and I love paranormal / horror / fantasies. I like books that tell the story without over the top character detail or stories that get bogged down with too much world building. Not saying I don't have time for that, I just like to read an engaging engrossing story, be they long or short. Fave author - too many to list, but would go for JRR Tolkien, Anne Rice and Stephen King from the 'old guard' and Kendare Blake, Cassandra Clare and JK Rowling from the 'new guard'. Fave book of all time time probably is The Lord of the Rings, though I happily add Rebecca's World by Terry Nation, Blubber by Judy Blume, and George Orwell's Nineteen-Eighty-Four to that list.
