Hi,my name is Marie and I am from germany, so be patient with my english. I am probably too old for YA and I am happy that with eBooks I don't have to go to shops where girls in their teens look at me like I would look at a man in the women's underwear section of the department store.
My favourite book? There are many, but from the newer ones: Harry Potter, everything from Cassandra Clare, The Hunger Games and last year's favourite was 'Angelfall'.
And my all time favourite: Trapcatch from Marion Zimmer Bradley. Pretty unknown, but beautiful!

Hola! My name is Maria, I'm 13, Canadian, and vegan. I LOVE YA books, but my interest's go far beyond that. I like to read Fiction, Sci-Fi, lil bit of Fantasy, and lot's more... My favorite book is Divergent by Veronica Roth, followed by The Host by Stephanie Meyer. Fave series is The Divergent Trilogy (obviously) And I've read The Inheritance Cycle by Christopher Paolini, started the Lord Of The Rings by J.R.R. Tolkien... And just recently got my library card so now I can read endlessly (though it's wayyy over due) First book I've read from the library is Wake by Robert J Sawyer (I've read the whole trilogy though)... I love reading so much that if I got a good book I'll stay up til 5AM reading without realizing (My dad gets up at 5 and makes coffee so that's how I know I stayed up to late - or to early - It's kinda my alarm clock) And sadly I usually finish the book the morning after I start it if the book has 600-800 pages. Then I can't stop thinking about it for the next two weeks, It gets so distracting that I can't focus on the next book I want to read so I have to wait til I can think of something other then the really good book I last read. I could go 3 days without eating or drinking anything and not notice (I bet I could go longer but I always finish the book before I can test that theory) Books are seriously my life, so far I went zip-lining off 100 story buildings, fought a dragon, almost got my mind taken over (or almost taken over someones mind, depends on what side your on) born blind and gained sight, almost fed to half-bird-half-human-full-evil baby thingys, traveled across the dessert without water or food and sooo much more that I can't even list. Now I made a huge message that I didn't even mean to, and I barely write O: Except when it comes to books like... Nevermind. This message is supposed to be ending now... Adios amigos!(;

I like to read, almost kind of obsessively and it can scare me at times when I realize that I have nearly read through nearly the entire day. My favorite books, I love The Hunger Games and Harry Potter. Another book that I absolutely adore would have to be Paper Valentine by Brenna Yovanoff. I fact, she's my favorite author, besides J.K Rowling and Suzanne Collins and all those perfect people. The books that have made me the most emotional would be The Sky IS Everywhere by Jandy Nelson or Before I Fall by Lauren Oliver. It's really hard to choose a favorite book, but I like the Gallagher Girls Series, TMI, TID, Harry Potter (!), Revenant Series, Caster Chronicles.....I'm excited to be part of a book group, since I've never done anything like it before!

OMG!!! ur like the first person in a loooong time that i've seen who has said they too like the Gallagher Girls series!!!! i LUV it... makes me kinda wanna be a spy...
