Hi! My name is Rachel. I'm new to GoodReads and all I can think is, where has this site been all my life?? I've been a fan of YA for a long time and I still voraciously consume all the newest titles even though it feels like I'm more "Adult" and less "Young" these days. Let's just say I first fell in love with Damon Salvatore when I was in Middle School, too... only that was in the 90s and no one was reading about vampires, haha.

My brother teaches sixth grade so buying YA books for his classroom library has become my internal justification for buying every YA book I can get my hands on. I buy the books that catch my interest, read them, and then mail them off to him. Win win!! Though I think the other teachers in his building are starting to wonder how and why the boys basketball coach has accumulated such an extensive collection of YA paranormal romance... haha. The girls in his classroom love it though!

I'm currently loving the Divergent Trilogy and I recently stumbled upon the Ashes Series by Ilsa Bick which has me hooked as well. Maybe I'll finally expand my YA horizon to include some dystopian themes? I look forward to getting more book recommendations from this group!

Hi, I'm new here, so forgive me in advance if I do something wrong. :p My name is Tiffany, I'm 28 years old. Although I am an adult and mother, I frequent the teen section at the library. I also have a ton of teen paranormal books in my collection. Sometimes I feel a little awkward, thinking I should have grown up by now and out of the teen section. But I love it. I have always loved reading, ever since I was little. I grew up reading R.L.Stine and Christopher Pike. My favorite books now are House of night series, and Morganville vampire series.

I'm Etta King - new-ish author! So far, I have the Caspian University novels up to 2! So exciting! Random fact: Two books inspired key parts of this novel, and that's a secret I'll never tell (lol GG reference). And no, GG was not one of the books (series?)...okay so one of them was CS Lewis' Narnia novels...Caspian? *hearts and roses*

I love all young adult books (especially ones with prep schools) and my favorites so far are Pretty Little Liars, The Clique, Private, Gossip Girl, The Carlyles...etc lol, because there are so many.

Anyway, my books are The Life and Times of Elizabeth and the Duchess and The Life and Times of the Heir and the Keeper. They are the first and second semester of what will be an eight part series!
