Just putting the finishing on my debut romance novel, "I Kissed a Ghost", just received 2 concepts for the cover and I've already decided which one I'm going with. When I tell them my choice, I'll be sending them my BIO and synopsis for the book's back cover. I'll be sending in the interior text all formatted either Saturday or Monday [the latest] And if everything works out the way I hope, I should have my book released still in time to be purchased as a Christmas gift. Hi Anna! I'm double your age (roughly) and also am a big fan of the Chaos Walking trilogy. It has the best opening line I think I've ever read :"The first thing you find out when yer dog learns to talk is that dogs don't got nothing much to say."

Good point about books having great "one liners." We often quote movie lines, but what about great lines from books?

One of my favorite lines from the movie Gladiator (Russell Crow), where he's taunting a stadium full of people, "Are you not entertained? Are you not entertained?!" Dead silence as he spits and walks off. :)

We should start a thread of great book one liners...
