My name is Michele, and the majority of what I read right now is YA. I'm a HS English teacher, and I started reading YA so that I could recommend good books to my students and discuss books with them. While I'd say The Hunger Games is my favorite book, I just read Hush and was very impressed by it, so it is my "favorite" of the moment (although Hunger Games will always be tops for me).

My name is Tracy and I love to read YA. Well, I read everything, really, but YA definitely has a lot of virtual shelf-space on my Kindle.

Favorite author? Wow. Um, too many to name, really. But if I had to pick from YA favs it would probably be Patrick Ness, John Green and Suzanne Collins.

Favorite books? Hmmm... my most recent favorite book is GONE GIRL. I've never had a book straight-up punk me like that. Loved it. But I've also recently read the NIGHT CIRCUS and that one was fantastic, too. YA-wise, I read Huntley Fitzpatrick's MY LIFE NEXT DOOR and just adored pretty much everything about it.

And full-disclosure here, I am an author who writes YA, too. So be warned, I can talk YA for HOURS and HOURS ;)
