THIS IS THE MOST REAL THING I HAVE EVER SEEN I LUV U!!!!!!!!!!!

I'm Avni and I love reading YA, mystery and books similar. My favourite book that I have read is Unravel Me from the Shatter Me Series. I don't have a favourite author, I am someone who cares about the genre. If you have any authors to recommend, I will try it out.

I just released my first novel of a three book series titled Soul Rift; It's an LGBT+ fantasy book that I'm really proud of. Other than that I'm the lead singer of alternative rock band No/Hugs and an LGBT+ Content creator & advocat on Titktok -> @callmenarcie

I'm also in the middle of writing a YA romance.
It's nice to meet you all. :)

I can’t pick one favorite book because I’ve read plenty of amazing books. To mention a few on the top of my head however maybe Ignite me by Tahereh Mafi, Binding 13 by Chloe Walsh and Iron Wing by Rebecca Yarros. I’m currently reading Once Upon A Broken Heart by Stephanie Garber and so far so *very* good.
I would love to chat further with all of you and I’m extremely happy to have found this group! Happy reading! Xx <3

I’m so indecisive so I could never choose a favourite book but a few of my too favourites include the Hunger Games, Anne of Green Gables, the Harry Potter series and the Fault in our Stars.

I love reading and writing Y/A books. I've started writing many stories since I was a tween, but very few of them are ever finished because after writing one chapter, I feel like the story is stupid 😅. I recently had the courage to self-publish my mystery book on amazon kdp. My favourite authors are Jeff Kinney, Rick Riodan, Roald Dhal, David Walliams and Sir Arthur Conan Doyle.

I am also an author. If you'd like to know more about my writings, feel free to message me anytime.

My name is B.L. Mostyn. I love YA Fantasy, but I can be an eclectic reader. Some of my favorite authors are Brandon Sanderson (Alcatraz vs the Evil Librarians is hilarious at any age!), Gail Carriger (Parasol Protectorate, Finishing School, The Custard Protocol, all great series), and Michael J. Sullivan (maybe a little more "adult", but excellent and funny none-the-less).
I loved YA Fantasy so much that I actually just published my first book in the genre. (If you want to know more message me anytime.)

I am mostly a reader, and most recently an author.
I am not exactly new to the books here, but I haven't engaged with the community before today.
I just want to say "great job," everyone. It's a real gift to have this opportunity.

I love character driven YA and excited to join the Goodreads family and discover what this community has to offer.
One of my favorite books is They Wish They Were Us by Jessica Goodman, and I really admire E. Lockhart for how she blends sharp prose with emotional weight.
I’m the author of Castleton, a new YA novel debuting June 10. It’s perfect for readers who love slow-burn suspense, queerness woven into the everyday, and stories that quietly peel back the pretty. Can’t wait to connect with you all!

i used to have goodreads before but i deleted it and im back now! better than before & im super ready to binge read!!
Miljana: I love those two Genres too!

I’m a compassionate, multicultural stargazer of life who believes stories are more than entertainment—they’re portals into truth, emotion, and connection. As an autistic reader and creator, I find joy in noticing what others might miss: a poetic turn of phrase, a sensory detail that lingers, or the quiet courage of a character just trying to be understood.
I read widely, but I’m especially drawn to stories that center identity, resistance, and emotional truth—historical fiction, powerful memoirs, character-driven fantasy, and multicultural narratives that stretch across time and borders. I feel most at home in books that echo complexity and wonder, just like the world around us.
Beyond reading, I’m a photographer and content creator who loves pairing stories with visuals—whether that’s through portraits, toy photography, or the occasional fandom-fueled video (Star Wars fans, Marvel nerds—come on in). My top three characters right now? Cal Kestis, Matt Murdock, and Belle da Costa Greene from The Personal Librarian—characters who carry light in complicated worlds.
Goodreads is where I track my reads, share honest reflections, and connect with others who read with heart. Feel free to say hello, recommend a story, or just wander through my shelves.
