Good to meet you all,
John

I used to read a lot when I was younger but school ruined it for me.
Last week I was in the hospital for a few days and my grandma bought me a book. Five Survive by Holly Jackson.
Now I read again! And school is over! SO NoThInG can STOP me NOW!!!
The past week I read Five Survive and A Good Girl's Guide To Murder by Holly Jackson and Franny and Zooey by J.D. Salinger which dudeeee I LOVE BOOKS

my favorite genre probably is romantasy, like ToG or Magic Academy, but I also like to read thriller (especially Sebastian Fitzek ones)
Hi! My name's Balma and I'm Spanish, but read in English. I've loved reading since... I learned how. My favorite genres are fantasy and sometimes historical and science fiction and my favorite books are Crooked Kingdom (Leigh Bardugo), The song of Achilles (Madeline Miller) and the infernal devices (Cassandra Clare).

I hope to make friends and we can bond over books :)

I love reading romance, and I'm very much into historical romances, too. I love fantasy and crime novels. I don't currently have a favorite author, and I've too many favorite books. I'm open to suggestions, although I don't read non-fiction that much. I love making friends who have the same interests as me, so feel free to add me!♡

Have a lovely day! ☀️

If you want to be friends on Goodreads, I'd love to connect! Drop me a request :)

I’m Sarah, 29 and from Germany.
I’ve been reading since I was a child and I think my mother supported me a lot. She brought me mangas from the city every Friday and always supported me having / getting books. (She reads so much and so fast herself, it’s like she’s trying to win a medal at the Olympics :‘D).
I read primarily YA, Adult, Fantasy, Syfi, Horror and Literary Fiction. If there’s no queer content represented (especially if romance is involved), I don’t feel quite as much like reading a book at the moment.
I guess it’s a little different with audiobooks, because I’m not as invested in them. So with audiobooks, I also tend to reach for non-queer content and also thrillers / crime novels.
Some of my favourite books are:
- „Aristotle and Dante Discover the Secrets of the Universe“ by Benjamin Alire Sáenz.
- „The Shadowhunter Chronicles“ by Cassandra Clare (have read all the books and my favourite trilogy is TDA).
- „A Little Life“ by Hanya Yanagihara
- „The Raven Cycle“ + „The Dreamer“ by Maggie Stiefvater
- „These Violent Delights“ by Micah Nevermere
- „Between Earth and Sky“ by Rebecca Roanhorse
- „Tender is the flesh“ by Agustina Bazterrica
- „Hell Followed With Us“ by Andrew Joseph White
- „The Spirit Bares ist Teeth“ by Andrew Joseph White
- „Howl’s Moving Castle“ by Diana Wynne Jones
- „Dark Rise“ by C.S. Pacat
- „All For The Game“ by Nora Sakavic (the books themselves really aren’t a masterpiece, but I’m still completely addicted to them xD)

My favourite books are:
- Anything from the Grishaverse by leigh bardugo
- Cinderella is dead by kalynn bayron
- the song of achilles by madeline Miller
- the deathless girls by Kiran millwood Hargrave
I'd love to talk and discuss my favourite books and movies with you guy :D

- The Liar's Crown by Abigail Owen
- The Cruel Prince by Holly Black
- Shatter Me by Tahereh Mafi
- The Loop by Ben Oliver
- This Vicious Grace by Emily Thiede
- All The Bright Places by Jennifer Niven
- Miss Peregrine's Home for Peculiar Children by Ransom Riggs
- The Goddess Test by Aimee Carter
and so so much more. am constantly needing book recommendations because I read wayy too much so feel free to friend me and give any book recommendations
I also really enjoy books by Natasha Preston :)

I'm not really new here in the sense of joining the group, but new in the sense of coming off a 4-year hiatus and never diving into Goodreads and all its amazing communities. I'm now hoping to be regularly active while meeting some new friends and reading some awesome stories!
My favourite book is hard to nail down, but for a series, it'd probably be The Lord of the Rings since I grew up reading them. Then my favourite Authors are: John Green, J. R. R. Tolkien, Stephen King, and Tom Clancy, and I view them as an inspirational conglomerate that helps shape my own stories.

It's nice to meet everyone. I'm always down to discuss and swap book reviews and recommendations. :)

This is a soft re-launch of the book, and I want to invite everyone to take a read. I have chosen to keep the ebook free-of-charge until the end of the year. Everyone should be free to share the ebook to friends, Family and if you have colleagues in the press/media or independent bloggers.
Should you decide to own a hard copy, you should know all proceeds from the book will be directed to advance the cause of Independent Media, Truth, Justice and Free Speech.
I will be grateful if you can leave a review on Amazon.

I live in Pakistan, where you seldom find a reader (you find a lot of loafers there). I am 13 years old and I love reading fiction, historical fiction, dystopian fiction and a little bit fantasy. My favourite series is Harry Potter. My favourite Stand-alone is The Book Thief as well as Wonder (I have equal love to both of them). I like to read in solitude. I am currently reading Naruto manga. You can't judge me with my face. I am a reader with bright (but dismal) cogitations. P.S. don't mind my English 'cause I write and speak the British English.
Thanks, bye.

i'm mostly into fantasy books but i'm open minded (except i don't really like most historical fiction books)
i'm currently reading the lord of the rings series
i've recently gotten into reading but i really like the harry potter series (boo jk rowling though🙅♂️🗣️)
i'm an aspiring musician :)
and i'm totally open and willing to talk to people✌️
