Hi Everyone! I am probably the oldest YA fan you have but I've been reading it for such a long time. I think my favorite is still the Twilight series. I just reread the entire series not too long ago and it still hit me in the feels. Although it was really weird reading Meyer's first bit of writing with Twilight. It was clunky and didn't flow as well as her more recent works.

My other favorite author is not YA but it is Andy Weir. I can read anything by him. Other than reading, I enjoy gardening, photography, crocheting, quilting, cooking, swimming, and yoga.

I work as a QA engineer during the day so it is always a relief to pick up my book at night. I look forward to meeting some new authors in this group and meeting all of you!

hi wendy! ofc, i dont know how old your daughters are or what books they like to read but i'll go out on a limb here and say pretty much all YA books are ok for people older than 13. the only thing i would stay away from is the ACOTAR series bc that's probably veryyy graphic for younger teens. other than that, if you're worried about a specific book, you can really just google an age rating for it. that being said, i've read close to every YA on the planet so feel free to DM for questions

Hey! My name is Chauncey. I love YA! I am currently reading The Dark Artifices series by Cassandra Clare. However, my to go the grave favorite book is Looking from Alaska by John Green. My favorite author is none other than John Green himself. I actually went to his book tour when he released Turtles All the Way Down. It was AMAZING. Hank even made an appearance.
