I love YA fantasy because it brings me into worlds I've dreamed of living in and just fits my imagination. Currently my favourite book is ''The Cruel Prince'' trilogy and my favourite author is Holly Black. She really knows how to write in a way that has magic in her words which helps build the worlds in her books.

Reading is definitely my favorite hobby, although I've had to go through years of a reading slump to get here. When I was young I loved reading for fun, but that faded as I went through school. The pandemic hit last year and I suddenly had all this free time. I picked up reading again and discovered how much I missed it.

Fantasy, Romance, Sci-Fi, Dystopian are definitely my favorite genres to read!
I love Fantasy worlds filled with powerful fae, vampires, werewolves, and anything in between. I love stories that feature extraordinary kingdoms and thrilling/dangerous adventures with a dashing love interest.

I think what makes me most excited about a book is diving into a new world. Escaping the one we live in. There’s also no better feeling than cozying up with a good book and a warm drink. Truly an addiction.

I'm still trying to figure out how to fully navigate groups (didn't realize goodreads had groups until the other day!) but I think I'm really going to like it here :) Nice to meet you all!

Welcome Yukta! I love all of SJM's books as well! And I love the Hush, Hush series. It's so good! I kind of want to do a re-read because I only remember what happened in the first two books. It's been a few years since I read them last! and I love the enemies to lovers trope as well! :)
