Needless to say, I absolutely love reading now. It has also completely messed up my sleep schedule but it is a small price to pay.

magdalena dolorico (magdalenadolorico) Hi!! My name is Magdalena and I'm 15. I live in Massachusetts. I love YA, and I've been reading ever since I was little so I've also read a lot of middle grade. I'm also looking to branch out from YA a bit to challenge myself a bit more but this is a YA book group so that's not really relevant haha. I've got a lot of feelings about books and like only one friend who reads lol, so I thought this might give me a space to talk about them more :) I'm currently reading Crooked Kingdom.

message 7496: by kay! ☾ (new)

kay! ☾ (kaysmagiclibrary) | 2 comments Hello! I’m Kay and I’m currently a senior in college studying sociology and criminology! I’ve been an avid book lover since I was a child but during 2020 I fell into a HUGE slump. I decided to join this book in hopes that it will rekindle my love for books. I’m a huge fan of historical fiction, dystopian, and fantasy but I do love a good fluffy contemporary. My favorite two books of all time is the Poppy Wars (well the whole entire trilogy) and The Song of Achilles. Both are technically not YA but I figured I would mention them anyways. Hopefully this group will help me fall back in love with reading, especially YA, because I truly miss it.

Ester | 44 comments Hello! My name is Ester and I am 19. My goal in 2021 is to read as many books as I can! I love to read about romance and fantasy.
My favourite book is City of Bones by Cassandra Clare. currently reading: one of us is lying. I would love if you could recommend me some books to read this year.
I look forward to talking with y'all!!

message 7500: by Kiran (new)

Kiran (voidskull24) Hii !!
I'm Kiran, currently 16 (will be 17 after 2 months though). I jump across various genres but YA still is something which resonates with me. I prefer realistic shortcomings over dramatic twists in the novels I read. I love those books where the protagonist is honest with what he's feeling at that moment instead of talking about profoundities of life. I'm not fan of love-triangles or polygons with lucky-deadbeat-protagonists. I look forward in being in this group !!
