Hello! My name is Katie Hays and I have been on Goodreads for almost two years and am just now realizing that communities like this exist...oh well, better late than never.

I am 22 years old and I have been reading all of my life. Books have always been a wonderful outlet for me to turn to when I wanted to be transported somewhere else. My favorite book is The Scarlet Letter by Nathaniel Hawthorne and has remained my favorite since my junior year in high school.

I am a big lover of fantasy (mainly YA), with my favorite book series of all time being that of Cassandra Clare's Shawdowhunter universe. I also enjoy true crime, romance, thriller/suspense, and horror novels. My top two favorite authors are Ted Dekker and Cassandra Clare.

I can't wait to get more involved in this community and to learn about more exciting books to read!
