I love contemporary books that make me cry such as “The Last Time We Say Goodbye” or “Hate List” or “My Heart And Other Black Holes”. Currently, I think my favorite author is Sarah J. Maas. Crescent City completely ruined me! The most recent book I've read and loved was Serpent & Dove, but good all-time favorites are The Infernal Devices trilogy, the ACOTAR series, the Daughter of Smoke & Bone trilogy and (a non-YA trilogy) The Captive Prince trilogy.

I read pretty much anything but my favourite genres are historical fiction, fantasy, romance and YA. I joined goodreads because I wanted to try and read a few more books in prep for an English literature degree, and just because I enjoy reading.

My favourite changes almost all the time, so my current favourite is probably 'Salt to the Sea' by Ruta Sepetys AKA the QUEEN of historical fiction.
