Hi! I'm Faegan (FAY-GEN) Most of the books I enjoy the most are YA Fantasy that has some type of romance plot in there... I'm currently reading "Ember of the Ashes" (March 3, 2020) And My favorite author is Leigh Bardugo or Renne Adieh. I'm A Taurus Born May 18!
hello, i'm alisa! YA is my main genre, but sometimes i'll feel like reading the latest Alice-Miranda novel in the series (been reading since grade 4 and i'm grade 10 now!). i've recently been really into books about... bees (hive + rogue by a.j. betts and how to bee by bren mcdibble). i don't have a fave book, but my fave author would have to be erin gough (signed my amelia westlake book with the kindest words!) oh and im kpop obsessed :)

Hello! I'm Jessica and I am from Poland. I fell in love in books, especially YA, just a year ago. I haven't read many of them yet but I am sure I will, there is so many interesting titles on my list! I try to buy and read a new book every month so I am happy to see this challenge here going on :) My favourite books as of now are The Raven King, ACOTAR, Cruel Prince, Six of Crows, Cinder and hopefully Shadow and Bone (*fangirling over the netflix series*) which I just bought and can't wait for it to arrive.
I hope to find new friends here who share same crazy love for books as me! Happy reading everyone :)

I am so attached to books and that’s why I have only one friend, and she is a librarian who’s older than me LOL. My favorite books are Lord of the Rings, See You In The Cosmos, Eragon, Salt to the Sea, Divergent, Scythe, One For The Murphys, Throne of a Glass, The Goose Girl, Turtles all the way down, and so many more! I made a list, and it’s almost 60 pages long (30 front&back). I love almost any book, unless it’s Dork Diaries or monster high or whatever.

I set my Goodreads goal low since I'm a college student. I read mostly YA, but I'm open minded to anything. I also read some poetry. I would like to get into graphic novels. I don't remember the last time I read one.
Feel free to add me! I accept almost anyone! I need more people to talk books to as well!!

I live in Sweden, and I mostly read and write in Swedish, so I try to go for Swedish writers or translations to Swedish. But when there is no Swedish translation or when it is OOP (like The Changeover) I read in English. I read YA both because I like to read it, and because my books are considered YA by some Swedish libraries, but I will refrain from advertising myself here :)
Favorite author is Gail Carriger, and in particular Finishing school, which is the kind of series I wish I could have written. And yes, I like steam punk if it is done well, which Gail usually does. Right now I would like to read Margaret Rogerson (and in particular Sorcery of Thorns) but I am holding it off, hoping for a Swedish translation. With my TBR-pile it's not like I am lacking books to read.
Since I have a long TBR of books (in general, and of YA) in English I mostly welcome suggestions on books written in other languages than English. Either in Swedish, or translated to Swedish or English.

What type of books do you like to read? :)

I’m Lynette, I’m 18. I used to read a bunch in middle school then I stopped when I got to High School but now I’m starting again :)

I´m actually a huge adult fiction and thrillers reader who is trying to read more fantasy/YA so we should recommend our faves to each other 😀

Holding a teen book club sounds like such a fun and rewarding thing. Encouraging kids to read more while also getting to talk about books with like-minded people.

Nice to meet you too

:)

Until last year when a friend loaned (and begged me to read) The Queen of the Tearling... and the rest is history. I literally can not get enough YA fantasy. It's borderline embarrassing lol.
Looking forward to reading everyone's posts and getting some new recommendations!

So, I'm a reader addict, like most of the people who's there it seems. I read a lot of ya books and I don't remember all I've read. But I loved Eragon series, I discovered recently Sarah J. Maas, and I enjoyed very well her. Is there really ya anyway???
Looking forward to share (take and give recommendations). Always have 20 many books to read after the one you have !

i’m lana, i live in england and my favourite books are stand alone ya’s. my favourite authors are rainbow rowell, alice oseman and elizabeth acevedo.
my favourite rainbow rowell book is carry on and my favourite alice oseman book is heartstopper volume 3
in total i currently own 74 novels, however my collection is still growing!
i am currently reading ‘with the fire on high’ by elizabeth acevedo:)

I don’t have a favorite book, because there are too many good books😅
My favorite authors are Leigh Bardugo, Sarah J. Mass and Jennifer L. Armentrout.
I really love fantasy books and I can’t stay longer than 4 days without a book.

I believe there are amazing stories in any genre and I'm trying to diversify my reading selection. But I love YA and fiction in general, I don't have a favorite book as I still have so much to read. I joined this website to find some good options and talk about books with other bookworms like me :)
I also love poetry, creative writing, screenwriting, photography, and drawing.

I have been an avid reader for most of my life, and have had a Good reads account for years, but only now actively using it! Im finding that I am re-reading series that I've read before because I struggle to find new books to fall in love with! I love YA Paranormal/ Romance but have a need for series because I read super fast (I've read 16 books in the last 2 weeks). Always looking for recomendations!

I'm Noor and I enjoy reading (and writing) fantasy, sometimes sci-fi and YA as well. I recently watched the movie The Darkest Minds and now want to read that whole series.
Favs include Harry Potter and The Hobbit/LoTR.
Excited to discover more great YA through this group.

I'm Abigail and I'm new to Goodreads, but I've loved reading for 20+ years now. I'm a major bookworm and a writer (future novelist). I like to read anything that catches my eye. I look forward to discussing and sharing books with all of you!
