My name is Cátia and I´m from Portugal.
Thanks to this group I´m reading a lot more, I try to participate in the challenges and I decided to create a group as well.
It´s just starting but I hope you have a look and join.

Be free to add me as friend :)

I’m currently in love with Sarah J Mass as well as Leigh Dardugo
I’m currently reading ... well a lot of books.
I read a lot of YA and New Adult books fiction and fantasy.
Um. Outside of book life I’m a teacher/tutor. I like to inspire kids to read (but it’s not always easy when they Bebe their noses in their phones). But it’s fun seeing the kids who do read, and hearing what kinds of books they enjoy.

Hoping to get to know you all! Looking for recommendations on what to read next! :)

I have a lot of favorites, but a couple I finished recently and loved were A Curse So Dark And Lonely and The Night Circus. I'm also currently reading Middlegame and am head over heels for it. Horror and fantasy are my go-to genres, YA or otherwise.
If you think we share some similar tastes, feel free to send me a friend request!

Some of my favorite books are Paper Towns by John Green, The Wicked Deep by Shea Ernshaw, and The House of Night Series by PC Cast. A few of my favorite authors, besides the ones above, would have to be Sarah Shepard, Cassandra Clare, and Holly Black.
Can not wait for book suggestions and such from this group!

My favorite novels are 1984 and Animal Farm by George Orwell, Lord of The Flies by William Golding, Brave New World by Aldous Huxley, and The Wonderful Wizard of Oz by L. Frank Baum.
My favorite fluff series is Vampire Academy by Richelle Mead, The Lunar Chronicles by Marissa Meyer, The Twilight Saga by Stephenie Meyer, The Hunger Games Trilogy, and The Mortal Instruments.
I’m always up for a book suggestion from this group. Can’t wait 😊

My name's Tash!
In love with Sarah j Maas!
I'm a 26 year old, married and just love curling up with a blanket and reading on the couch!
I do work full time with shift work!
I'm a pretty chilled and relaxed person!
looking forward to chatting to you all of you and discussing our favourite books!!

I have been recently trying out mangas and graphic novels. My favorite so far is a manga called Kingdom Hearts.
I can't wait to talk about books!
Belle~

My favourite books are fantasy, dystopia, and anything strange and slightly creepy. My favourite authors are Sarah J Maas, Cassandra Clare, Neal Shusterman, Louise O’Neill, and Alice Oseman. I’m open to anything, but have a tendency to put a book down if I don’t like the first 50 pages.
I’m also trying to write my own novel, with the hope that I will finish it by Uni.

My favourite authors are Cassandra Clare, Sarah J. Maas and Robin Stevens but I love lots of others too, and I probably give out five star ratings a little too freely. I'm a hopeless romantic, but the romance has to be just right - I just cringe if the whole book is centred around the love story and there's nothing else to it.
My dream is to be an author one day.
So yeah... that's me!

I would love for some people to add me and recommend some of the best YA books that have come out over the past few years so I can start to catch up!

Favorite book- I can’t pick. It’s usually what I’m reading at the moment
Favorite author- J.K. Rowling
Favorite genre- YA and dystopian
Can’t wait to start discussing and contributing to the group!

My name's Beck. I'm a 26 year old married Aussie.
I love YA, in particular fantasy and dystopian and my favourite Author (at the moment) is Sarah J. Maas.
I've been on Goodreads for years now but I've only just started getting into groups and I'm looking forward to chatting about all of our favourite books!

I haven't read anything by her yet, but I have heard very good things!
I'm also into fantasy and dystopian novels.

My name is Maria and I'm ashamed to say that I didn't even know YA counted as a "genre" so much (well, demographic turned to a loose genre) until around a year or two ago, haha. I was glad to see that many of the things I liked counted as YA, because I found the common link in them, haha.
I'm still in my 20's, though 30's are slooowly creeping up T^T I've been a goodreads member for a few years now, but it's only lately that I'm trying to be making more friends around. My big goal is to get my reviews a bit out there so more people read them (though, I can't promise their good quality, haha), but it's hard to become popular. Especially since I can't read every new book that comes out WHEN it comes out. Maybe one day :D
My top 2 favorite books are Pride and Prejudice by Jane Austen (despite the problems I have with it) and En Famille by Hector Mallot (nostalgia feeling). My favorite book series is by far Harry Potter, but none of the new books. I'm generally a fan of when something ends, it ends. Adding a bunch of "new" additions and such and usually messing up with the canon is not my style. Other than that, I like mostly Fantasy and Romance (especially combined!), but I enjoy a good mystery (usually the crime ones) and period romances are my guilty pleasures, haha.
I like writing, but I almost always give up before finishing and I'm trying to learn Japanese on my own. That's all!

My favorite book of all time is To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee. I loved the character of Atticus throughout the story, so I feel as though it will always be one of my favorite books! :)
(I also REFUSE to read Go Set a Watchman by Harper Lee because I heard it paints Atticus in the complete opposite picture. I just don't think my heart could take it. Hahaha)
Feel free to let me know your thoughts on To Kill a Mockingbird or any of your favorite books. I'm ALWAYS looking for book recommendations. I look forward to talking with you all through the group. Thank you! :)

My name is Sraavika (15) and I'm super excited to be a part of this group. I love reading books, mainly YA but sometimes I like to branch out and read other genres as well. Currently I'm volunteering at my local library and have access to a whole bunch of books which is as amazing as it sounds.
Some of my favorite series are:
Mortal Instruments (Cassandra Clare), Throne of Glass and A Court of Thorns and Roses (both by Sarah J. Mass)
Some of my favorite books are:
When Dimple Met Rishi (Sandhya Menon), Origin (Dan Brown) and Truly Devious by (Maureen Johnson).
I would really appreciate it if you guys can help me find my next read by recommending something.
Thank you!

-The Coldest Girl In Coldtown by Holly Black
-Trial by Fire by Josephine Angelini

- The Divergent Series
- Hunger Games
- The Razorland Trilogy is one of my favorites
- Anything by James Rollins and Andy McDermont (I know they're not YA fantasy but I enjoy the adventure and history they incorporate into the story)

My favourite books are:
Aristotle and Dante Discover the secrets of the Universe
The Skulduggery Pleasant series
Neverwhere and Slaughter House 5
My favourite authors are:
Leigh Bardugo
Patrick Ness
and Adam Silvera

My favourite authors at the moment are - Patrick Ness and Adam Silvera
My Favourite books/book series has to be - "The Chaos Walking" Trilogy (all the feels man)
Currently most recently read book - "They Both Die at the end" (which absolutely destroyed me)
