Hey I’m Briana. I read inconsistently due to busy work schedule but still enjoy it (and go on the occasional weekend book-binge).

I lean heavily towards high fantasy and YA-Fantasy in my reading choices but do branch out to classics or dystopian occasionally.

Some of my favorite authors are Alexandre Dumas, JK Rowling, Brandon Sanderson, Tamora Pierce and Kristen Britain.

I have been on Goodreads for ages now but have only just started getting into reviews (Please read them!) and want to dive deeper into the book world community and to make many friends.

My favorite book? SOO ANY, ahh. Most recent would be a Court of Thorns and Roses series. Had zero interest in it and found it for $3 at an op-shop and fell in love. Cassian is my cinnamon roll.

Favorite YA author. Hmmm. maybe Lauren Oliver, or Julie Kagawa. I will read anything (even if its a little shit) by her.

I’m an only child and my mom worked a lot, so it was usually just my dad and I all the time. During weekends, my dad would take me to the library or the bookstore to read books/buy a book for the week (back when soft cover books were as cheap as $2.99-5.99). Young adult has always been my favorite genre, even now that I’m way past the age of “young adult” lol. I’ve grown up a little and enjoy contemporary romance/rom-com... but I still love young adult! My favorite YA book series of all time is the sloppy firsts series by Megan mccafferty. My most recent favorite YA book is invisible ghosts by Robyn Schneider :) Nice to be a part of this group!

You can call me Luna, and I'm an 8th-grader who is an avid reader and writer as well. In my spare time, I read, write, listen to music, and make digital art. I mainly like reading Fantasy and Dystopian, and I am currently working on a Fantasy novel for Wattpad's Open Novella Contest (which I have somehow got longlisted to move on to Round 3!), so that gives me plenty of motivation.
