Hi, Amy here. I am the author of Books, Cooks, & Hooks, a brand spanking new blog. Most of what I cover in the blog is books, which are my FAVORITE, specifically young adult books. I have worked at a library for almost 20 years, so I have read hundreds of young adult books and other genres too. My favorite authors right now are Cat Winters and Madeleine Roux. Paranormal historical fiction is my favorite genre right now as well. I am looking forward to making some connections and chatting about books, books, books!!

Hey everyone! I'm Candice. I'm a bit out of the range for YA as others would tell me (22, yeah right, lol.) I love fantasy, and I've noticed that YA has been stepping it up in some places. I'm a little behind on reading, but I'm hoping to meet new people and make some friends while we talk about the awesomeness of books. :)

My favorite book currently is Ruin and Rising by Leigh Bardugo. And this might sound extreme, but my favorite author is Brandon Sanderson, even though I haven't finished Mistborn yet (my first book reading by him.) I'm about 20 pages into it, and I'm already blown away. I don't think any book has ever done that to me.
Not to mention, he does amazing lectures for aspiring writers--like me!
