Introduce Yourselves HERE!

I have mostly only read Middle Grade and Young Adult, and I prefer YA by far.
I just got into reading about 2 years ago, thanks to the Twilight Saga (say what you want, but I'll FOREVER be a TwiHeart!). I'm 13, but people say I'm very mature for my age (DO NOT UNDERESTIMATE ME)
My favorite books are all if the Shadowhunter Chronicles by Cassandra Clare. And that makes Cassie my favorite author.

I look forward to read with all of you!

my favorite anything when it comes to books definitely changes all the time, but currently, my favorite book is probably To Kill A Mockingbird (can't go wrong with a classic right?). and my favorite author right now is probably Katherine McGee and more specifically her writing in The Thousandth Floor. in my humble opinion, i think she does a really good job at explaining things without flat out telling you what exactly is happening.
and to end on a sort of high note, i used to be strictly a fan of contemporary (curse you John Green), but now i am reading more and more sci-fi and fantasy ya novels and it's the best decision i have ever made.

I'm a complete bookworm my favourite series of books has to be the hunger games and the House of Night series by P.C and Kristen Cast. I also love Rainbow Rowell and John green, but I read pretty much anything! So I'm always up for recommendations, thanks!

my name is Madelyn Minnaar. i am from South Africa.
i love reading YA. I loved daughter of a pirate King. my favorite authors is kiera Cass Jk Rowling lewis caroll just to name a few

Currently I want to read "The Hate U Give" by Angie Thomas and "Everything, Everything" by Nicola Yoon. If you've read these let me know if you approve!
I'm new-ish to Goodreads but DEFINITELY new to groups and discussions! I'm happy I found this group!

I'm Luna :D I'm Italian and I love reading books! I'm a student of foreing languages (English and Russian) and I study in Verona.
I absolutely love fantasy, distopic books and YA, of course!
I'm a potterhead since I was 6 years old :D
I liked Throne of Glass serie, even though I haven't started Empire of Storms yet and Red Queen...
I loved also Kerstin Gier Rubinrot and Starcrossed, by Josephine Angelini.

My name is Abbie, I'm 21 and I have just graduated from a Zoo Biology degree, which means it is time to knuckle down and get some serious reading done this summer 😁
I do read some factual books (usually about birds or exotics) but YA is my go to genre!
'What is your favourite book?' Is a question that stresses me out to no end, I mean in a world full to the brim of books how could I possible choose just one?!
Favourite include (but not limited to);
- Harry Potter by J.K. Rowling.
- The Raven Cycle by Maggie Stiefvater.
- The Mortal Instruments by Cassandra Clare.
- The Infernal Devices by Cassandra Clare.
- The Copper Promise by Jen Williams.

I hope to expand my horizons with goodreads by seeing what others enjoy and have discussions on things that I am reading. I hope to talk to some of y'all.

My name is Maartje, I'm from The Hague, The netherlands. I've just recently discovered YA (and I'm 41 already). I'm trying to read all the books you love so much. So I'm updating right now and sometimes read a recent one. Now I'm reading Cinder and Ink.
I love Sarah J. Maas, Sophie Jordan and Kerstin Gier

My name is Gala, I'm 16 yo and I'm from Galicia (Spain). I love reading since I can read and I like most of the genres, but my favourites are YA, Contemporary, Classics, Romance and Fantasy. I absolutely love J.K. Rowling and Jenny Han.

My name is Julia and much like all of you I am a true book lover and YA fanatic! I just spent the last 4 years immersing myself in the classics as I was working towards my degree in english literature and I look forward to being able to have in depth discussions with this community about literature that is more my style!
My favourite YA authors are definitely Sophie Kinsella and J.K Rowling

I am Ashley and I get told I read to much but I don't think I do. I love paranormal romances and almost all fantasy books. I will read anything with Dragons, magic or any type of strange mythical kind of story. I love YA books and buy new ones all the time and I would love to have people I can discuss books with. I don't really have any bookworm friends which sucks. I don't have a favourite author or book because there are to many to choose from.

I am Liz, I enjoy reading and will read pretty much anything. If I have to pick a favourite genre, I would say it is a mix of fantasy and science fiction. I read so much, that some people think it is all I do. I must admit to not reading as many "new" books lately, since I am trying to read through all the books on my shelves that I have been stockpiling. I enjoy discussing books and characters, and love helping others find their next favourite book.

I'm Lena, 24, from Germany and I love YA books.
My favorite author is Cassandra Clare. I have all of her books. I didn't get to Lord of the shadows yet, so it's perfect that's it's a current Group read.
I've also just started reading the ACOTAR series by Sarah J.Maas and the Percy Jackson series by Rick Riordan.
I've finished several. Too many to list them all ;)

I love reading YA books, sometimes I read books that are a little heavy (in content or just adult fiction). Some of my favorite books, so you can know, is the A Court Of Thorns series (not really YA lol), Land of Stories by Chris Colfer, Harry Potter, Mortal Instruments, Lauren Oliver's books (not all of them, but I have read most of her works), John Green's novels, and Neal Shusterman's novels.
I want to make friends here, so if you can, please add me as a friend. I'm new here, by the way. :)

I love YA discovering it was a bless

And feel free to give me any suggestions, and of course, to making some new friends to discuss book-ish things!

I'm Kris. I try to add as many books to my tight summer work schedule. I don't really have favorites - as soon as I finish a good book, it becomes my favorite... until the next one. But I really enjoyed "the perks of being a wallflower" which I read 3 times, so I guess I can say it's one of my favorites. Anyone, who is up for making some online reader friends, feel free to add me! :)

My favorite YA (secretly NA) book is A Court of Mist and Fury and favorite contemporary is The Hating Game by Sally Thorne.

I've read fiction, fantasy, chicklit, YA and classics.
I'm currently reading Before I fall by Lauren Oliver.
My favourite books are the Harry Potter series (OFCOURSE), The Year I Met You, If You Could See Me Now, and A Thousand Splendid Suns.
