My name is Eliza, and naming a favorite book/author is almost impossible! For YA, I'm exceptionally fond of Meg Cabot (except for Abandon, blech), but most of what I read has some sort of fantasy twist to it. The Harry Potter series is up there. Scott Westerfeld is up there, as I loved both Midnighters and Uglies. Rachel Hawkins with her Hex Hall trilogy. I could go on, but I'll save that for later. :-)
