Does it ever stop growing? A tree? It's like us if you know what I mean. We learn, we grow, just like that tree. It starts small and it grows, just like us. We get old and shrink, mentally and psychically. I suppose trees eventually get old and start to rot but that's not my point. I guess what I'm trying to say is that trees don't shrink. I like to think that they think, but... Here. Let's see. They have roots for starters that keep it up, keep it rooted, steady and healthy, like family is to us. Trees can have a strong trunk. But they start out flimsy twigs. Like us and friends. We start out with one or two and those friends make us strong. A strong trunk.
I was thinking if roots are family and trunks are friends... what's the bark? Then it hit me. Support. Don't think that support supports the tree. But support is like the bark because if it's not there our trunk, our friends can get corrupted or get eaten.
If our family keeps us rooted and support from our friends keeps us strong, what can stop us from 'branching' out in every direction? Inspiration then comes to me, buds. They start out just little bitty things that kind of look weird if you know what I mean. Then with help from the roots and the the support from the trunk that inspiration can grow into something amazing, something new, with vines and carry nutrients to keep the tree, you and me, alive.

Well done, I like it that you used an analogy to describe the tree. Everything flows smoothly though as far structure, work on your words though as some are a bit choppy. Overall nice job and thanks for participating.

A child's hope that their lives will be full of fame and perfection. A parents dream that their child will live to fulfill their desires. All crushed underneath the feet that know no better. Their hopes cut short and lost to the human concept.
The base and branches hold the joy of children and the love of couples. Caressing eachother under the shade, while it provided shelter from the real world. Small hands accidently breaking what had taken so long to be grown, but forgiven despite their acts. For although it protects, it can't help but hurt as well.
A tree is something that we can't live without. The joy of climbing up to the sky, the happiness that spreads as a stray leaf is plucked from your hair, and those final moments when you come to say good-bye. These things all make up our lives and the tree's.

Nice analogy, and everything thing is fluid. Maybe work on more complex sentence structure to make the flow even smoother? Overall well done, and thanks for participating!

-Large welcoming branches reach for the sky, nearly embracing the cotton candy clouds. A sturdy rough trunk supports the wide embrace of branches that hold luscious foliage in the summer and dry brilliant leaves in the fall. The grassy knoll it perches on provides a great shaded place in summer months for frolicking children. Its wide flat branches are perfect resting spots for avid readers as the other long thick tendrils curl around you like a loving parent to keep you safe. The elongated hollow at the wide base with a dark interior provides a perfect hiding spot when a game of hide and seek ensues. In late winter when snow crests its open arms its shadow graces the slick snow covered hill, like the watchful eye of a protective parent.
