weird combining issue

These records don't seem to be already combined -- one has the series info, the other doesn't, and the number of editions is different for each. The authors are the same and bring up the same author page. But when I try to combine, there's only one listing for that title.

Oh, I see the problem now, or one of them -- the second one has gotten combined with a bunch of unrelated books by a different author. Lemme see if I can fix that.

You might double-check that odd one with the other author's books. I had one or two the other day that had wrong info and were actually the same book they were combined with.

The second one was combined with books from another author, somehow or other. Used separate tool to segregate it out, and then it combined just fine.

I guess someone fixed it or it fixed itself!
