I was just thinking about the idea of making a graphical vagina for a rating and it made me laugh A LOT.
This is a good point because we should figure out how to rate things and recommend them. Opinions are welcome.

Neko | 111 comments Hahahaha!! The worst ones I think are based on anime teens/women *shivers* Anyways, there are soda cans ones as well..But anyhoos that site has all sorts of things that make you go...wtf..and possibly could help inspire a graphical rating logo as such.

JBOX is the PG version of the site ;D

Michele (nerdmichele) | 74 comments We could go a bit more oblique and just use a V -- then it could represent both the name of the group/part of a woman's anatomy, as well as the position of said anatomy (ladies, look down).

Or maybe I'm just weird. :)

That's true Michele! I like that idea!

message 8: by Necrophidian (new)

Necrophidian | 74 comments I was going to suggest V as well, so I'll throw my support behind that suggestion.

I'm sure that'll make all the difference. *cough*

Also, for the record, I'm fond of 'vajayjay'.

Also, if anyone's actually keeping records, some of us are in a heap of trouble.

Jamie (emmapeel007) | 55 comments Am I the only one who when they see V either thinks a) V For Vendetta (which would be fitting because the people who don't own one sometimes think they are dangerous and powerful); or b) V: The Visitors (again fitting, because the people who don't own one often think of them as alien creatures)?

message 10: by Christal (new)

Christal | 16 comments Ever since I saw that epic (epically bad?) Summer's Eve commercial, all I can think of when I see V is their "Hail to the V" slogan. Fitting, I suppose lol.

message 11: by Neko (new)

Neko | 111 comments Yeah V for Vendetta does instantly cross my mind as well.

message 12: by Zetabodhi (new)

Zetabodhi | 8 comments I *love* the idea of giving a book a certain number of vaginas out so many. Best grading system ever. I just need to make sure not to accidentally slip-up and start using the vagina scale next time I'm grading Intro Psych papers!

I hate the word vulva it reminds me of an invading alien races or a car. :P

message 14: by Marissa (new)

Marissa | 4 comments Also, rating in different categories would be better than an over all rating. Some books have low smut content but are otherwise excellent VagFan books

I know, right? Although the sheer volume of potential puns for the race car analogy is almost too deliciously horrible..."

LOL!! So true!

Then perhaps you could have two ratings like:

Overal: (insert rating here)
Smut: (insert rating here)

Type of thing? Otherwise the rating system might get abit over the top?

message 17: by Michele (new)

Michele (nerdmichele) | 74 comments Let's just rate them by how unlaced the corsets get...

;)

Kieraembers | 8 comments Michele wrote: "Let's just rate them by how unlaced the corsets get...

Awesome idea! you can't confuse that with the movie of show V. maybe something like 3 out of 5 unlaced corsets, 8 out of 10 rippling/oiled abs or 6 out of 10 embarrassing covers. We could get the most rediculos looking covers and have that as our rating scale.

message 24: by Paul (new)

Paul Darcy (pauldarcy) What's wrong with rating in plain old fashioned O's . . . since Vs can have multiple Os . . . and more = better, am I right? . . . just a thought. ;)

message 25: by Neko (new)

Neko | 111 comments Pfff..O's naw..That seems tacky...I'd rather V over O..But I'd moreso perfer a icon of somesort rather than a letter in general ;p

message 26: by Michele (new)

Michele (nerdmichele) | 74 comments The V-shaped book would be good a good icon, if it scaled well. We'd get the symbology, certainly. :)

message 27: by •lyn (last edited Feb 24, 2012 10:09PM) (new)

•lyn Reads (alyn_reads) | 4 comments In lieu of the "star" system... What about a "peach" system? It's been used to refers to a woman's bits and pieces in a nice way. Plus, peaches can be oh so juicy (the fruit... perverts!) and what better way to rate a book than on how juicy the steamy scenes, dialogue, world, plot, etc. are?

message 28: by Neko (new)

Neko | 111 comments Haha I like that..And you could add in a splat of cream for when there is lots of sexy time!

message 29: by •lyn (new)

•lyn Reads (alyn_reads) | 4 comments Ahahaha... Nice! Okay now I'm the pervert! Just visualized what that could look like... A nice splat of cream... I just laughed so hard I almost pee'd myself!!!

message 30: by Neko (last edited Feb 28, 2012 02:46AM) (new)

Neko | 111 comments *Ahem* Now I wasn't really being too dirty when I mentioned the cream but since now my mind has gone to the gutter...ahahahaha!!

message 31: by MAJK (new)

MAJK | 57 comments hmmm peaches and cream .... on a serious note I too like the idea Michele had about The V-shaped book icon
