Heather(Gibby) (heather-gibby) | 469 comments I joined this group as a way to find out about time Travel books as I find it hard to find new/good quality material. I have always been fascninated with time travel, especialy the idea of having a "do-over" in life. My favourite time travel books are Replay, by Ken Grimwood and the Time Traveller's Wife (have always expected a sequel-anyone know anything?)
Hope to get to know you all better!
I will get a picture loaded up sometime soon.

Welcome, Heather. You have come to the right place. Tej and Andy will be happy to give you lots of recommendations. You can also peruse the discussion threads for this group for lots of great ideas. Feel free to join our monthly book club, and watch for our monthly book giveaways at the beginning of each month. Let me know if you have any questions or if I can improve your experience with this group.

Sorry I am rather late in welcoming you, Heather. But welcome!

As well as all the books, film and tv programmes discussed in this group, John has already mentioned Andy, who has a nice dedicated website of TT books, films, tv etc. He isnt quite up to date with it but there is plenty to feast on.

Another member here, Charlotte has a lovely blog with reviews for nearly 150 TT books and she seems to be adding to it quite frequently.

Also check the group's book shelf for new added TT books.

Howard Loring (howardloringgoodreadscom) | 1177 comments Heather, I'm new to the group & just saw your post.

Most people are interested in time travel but most could not tell you why.

Yet time defines us all, it's our reference.

"How you been?" infers "Since the last TIME we talked."

The examples are endless as time for us is a fact we experience every day.

Yet humans are not bound by time, something most people don't realize & that's what facinates us about it.

Anyone can travel backwards in time, just think of your childhood.

You can & do travel in the future as well, when ever you plan your next vacation or trip to the supermarket.

I love the whole concept of time, that's why I write about it.

Click my picture to visit my current time frame & check me out if you wish.

Who knows what the future holds, only time will tell.

Some interesting thoughts, Howard. Makes me realize that I'm continually traveling into the future, which is also kniwn as aging. I just wish I could slow down the process.
