Pirl (pirlismyname) It was refrence, but yes, that was funny too.
And the second line you gave was definitely the second funniest line in the movie, the one I gave being num1.

message 252: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay. The funniest part in the whole movie, for me at least, was the HULK. PUNCH. THOR for no reason at all part!!!! And the "You cannot harm me I am a god!" Hulk, "Puny god." slam slam slam!!!

message 253: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) Yeah, that was funny.

Anna (SylviaGrant) | 148 comments What do you do when your ex-best friend knows a deep dark secret that you really like Luke (a brother of your on and off best friend Lizzie)?

Are you on bad terms with the friend that knows you like Luke?

message 268: by Cheyenne, HoH & Proud (new)

Bad enough terms that she would say something?

message 269: by Anna (new)

Anna (SylviaGrant) | 148 comments Cheyenne wrote: "Are you on bad terms with the friend that knows you like Luke?"

Yeah, we haven't spoken in like months perhaps..I guess it was because of Luke and how much she "loves" him and she always thought she had ownership of him and he does act differently around me than he does with her.

message 270: by Anna (new)

Anna (SylviaGrant) | 148 comments Let's just say that she would totally tell him if she was really super ticked with me which could happen any time...any where...any moment.

Cheyenne | 665 comments Mod
Well, if you guys were ONCE best friends, it doesn't seem likely that she will say anything about it. I used to have a friend who has a lot of dirt on me, and I've got a lot of dirt on her. We used to be best friends, and now I can barely even say hello to her. We haven't really talked in over 6 months, however neither of us have shared any bad secrets about the other.

I would say not to worry too much about it. Dating a friend's brother/liking him, can be awkward, but usually the friend won't care enough to stop talking to you. My sister started dating her best friend's brother when I was a freshman. (I'm a junior now, and they're still together.) I guess I would say to just not do anything extreme. If you worry about the situation too much you might do something not-very-smart that you wouldn't do under a clear head.

ditto, but you guys should make up! two of my friends are sort of in that, not-so-sure stage. my friendship with them is fine, they just can't stand the sight of each other. You gave her some time to cool down, now you two should apolojize. If you've been best friends for a while and if she's still wazzed out, them let her be!Your personal life and emotions don't have to stop at an "akward friendship"! Don't let her get in the way! Hang out with Luke for a while and get to know each other better, as friends! Then mabey someday he'll tell you that he likes you back! Your friend wouldn't be able to do anything about that!

I think Anna making up with her friend would depend on why the friendship ended in the first place. If it ended because she realized her friend really wasn't a very good friend, then making up with her might just cause Anna more grief. If it was over some argument, then making up might be a good idea.

message 282: by Alyssa (new)

Alyssa | 3 comments Hello. I'm new to goodreads and, because I am always told that my poetry is good, I love reading, and my friend wanted to roleplay with me, I decided to join. I saw this group and thought it would be fun to join. So, that's a little about me, I guess.
I hate it when I'm at school and people are always talking EXTREEMLY loud. I try to write in my notebook while I have some freetime, nt them screaming about their lunch doesn't help. They also play music that I cannot stand (I don't have a problem with them playing their rap music so that their table can hear it, but people from across the room don't need to hear their music.)
Sorry, I hate venting and stuff, but that can get really annoing.

message 283: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) I like loud music(including Eminem, the only rapper I find remotely enjoyable, and actually quite enjoyable) but like, in my room loud, not in public while other people are eating or reading or talking or all of the above loud. That's just rude. Plus most rap sucks, so...

Cheyenne | 665 comments Mod
I agree with most rap sucking. I like loud music, but only in the privacy of my bedroom or when I've got headphones in.

message 299: by Pirl (new)

Pirl (pirlismyname) PotterHeads forever! Guess what I've been doing till this very moment!(I started a few weeks ago but only really have time on Saturdays, you know, so until last Friday night I didn't really get into it) You didn't guess it! Reading Harry Potter from the beginning!
I keep finding new things, it's amazing really!

My Abba was just saying the other day to me, and I completely agree, that Harry Potter is to Twilight what Lord of the Rings is to Harry Potter: on a different level of existence. I would add and say that Twilight is in a different PLAIN, much, much, MUCH lower than HP and of course, the beautifully written Lord of the Rings.

Pirl (pirlismyname) Oh, has anyone ever tried to understand what Hermione says in the sixth book during the potions lesson with the antidotes and the bezoar? Because I THINK I do.
