I just started to read this book and I cant seem to put it down.This book is about a kid named Ben Mckee and how he used to live with his mother Geneva and his aunt Fay.Life was preety good until Ben's mother met some guy and they started to date.A couple weeks after getting to know him, Ben's mother said that she and her boyfiend Larry were getting married and that they were moving to a new aparment.When Ben's mother left home to work Larry told Ben to go up to his room and Ben refused.Larry got up from his chair and grabbed Ben from his shirt Ben wasn't scared so he "talked back" and then Larry ran up to him and sent a devastating eye blackening right hook which connected to Ben's face.Larry caught Ben in the stairs and hit him with his heavy black work boot which sent some heavly pain throught his body.The worst part was when Ben's mom came home.She took Larry's side.She told ben "sometimes he can be like that don't get him upset he lost his job and anything can set him off."

Wow. Now this seems to be interesting. I wonder what Ben will do next?
