I've just finished reading Shakespeare's Cuthbert and noticed that it is free again today.

It will suit those who like their humour silly. I made me laugh a lot, but I found it better to read it in small doses as it got a bit much for me if I tried to read it straight through like I do for most novels. I want to read it again one day to pick up the bits I missed - there is so much humour in the text that I'm sure that I missed bits!

I picked this up free last week. I'd goot the first one some time ago, but haven't read it yet. Even though this had the same main characters, I didn't feel I was missing anything by not having read the first one.
It was quite good. I read it in 2 days. The gist is, small ski town in America on volcano that decides it wants to be active. There's only one road out of town to safety.

I got this free recently and read it during a long car journey yesterday The Good Father.

Terrific read! Intertwined relationships, damaged lives and loves.Set in the north of England during the fifties this had me on the edge of my seat throughout.
Possibly the best freebie I have ever read.I would not have been disappointed had I paid a tenner for it!

It's your basic bulk standard Police Procedural but a good example of one! Quite TV episodic in structure.

A Christmas CameronWas £1.99 yesterday but free today.
A retelling of A Christmas Carol in present time under the current austerity measures.Just as Dickens used his story to highlight social injustices of the time,this author gets his message across with 3 ghosts and a pregnant teenager. Very thought provoking. I loved it!

I definitely agree Vigilante is a great book. I really enjoyed The Consultant (the second book). Unfortunately Mind Games (the third book) wasn't as good. However I'm still gonna carry on with the series.

Not everyone likes it, but if you look at all those reviews it has you can tell it has caused some sort of controversy, which can only be good news for the author I think.
