I've just finished reading Shakespeare's Cuthbert and noticed that it is free again today.

It will suit those who like their humour silly. I made me laugh a lot, but I found it better to read it in small doses as it got a bit much for me if I tried to read it straight through like I do for most novels. I want to read it again one day to pick up the bits I missed - there is so much humour in the text that I'm sure that I missed bits!

http://www.amazon.co.uk/Volcano-Foren...I picked this up free last week. I'd goot the first one some time ago, but haven't read it yet. Even though this had the same main characters, I didn't feel I was missing anything by not having read the first one.
It was quite good. I read it in 2 days. The gist is, small ski town in America on volcano that decides it wants to be active. There's only one road out of town to safety.

I've just finished The time child by Lexi Revellian, very thought provoking stories and would highly recommend and would read more of hers.
Strictly Murder by Lynda Wilcox - free today and i think next couple days too... Nice easy read :)http://www.amazon.co.uk/Strictly-Murd...
I got this free recently and read it during a long car journey yesterday The Good Father.Terrific read! Intertwined relationships, damaged lives and loves.Set in the north of England during the fifties this had me on the edge of my seat throughout.
Possibly the best freebie I have ever read.I would not have been disappointed had I paid a tenner for it!
Was still free last night when I checked.
OOh, i forgot about this thread - would recommend The Lion, the Lamb, the Hunted: A Psychological Thriller
Time Child and Other Stories
Mongol Rally by JA Irvine http://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B007M41H2M/Two students decide to do the Rally from London to Mongolia. The only rules is that the vehicle must not cost more than £500.
Very interesting.
I've recently read A Dish Best Served Cold by Cornelius Harker and Loss by Glen Krish, both enjoyable reads and am looking forward to reading more from both. Am now reading Afraid by J Kilborn, only 2% in
The Rock by Robert DawsYes the famous TV actor dude :)
It's your basic bulk standard Police Procedural but a good example of one! Quite TV episodic in structure.
And it's still free at the moment
http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Rock-eboo...
I reviewed it and got a lovely message back from the author too :)
I read it this week Kath and agree it was very well written.I didn't realise who the author was till I saw his picture on the book page.
I wasn't sure who Robert Daws was, but when I looked at his photo I realised that he is Tuppy Glossop!! (Jeeves and Wooster!)
Thanks, I've downloaded a copy.
Wonder if he is on goodreads...?

and
Mountain Man
I have got many new free books lately and most of them have been lovely. The last one i read was The Last Bride in Ballymuir Easy read and nice story line. Great for a quiet night in
I just finished 'Mark of the Dragon Queen' and gave it 5 stars! I know some of you have read it but if you haven't do so. (Sorry on app so can't link book)
A Christmas CameronWas £1.99 yesterday but free today.A retelling of A Christmas Carol in present time under the current austerity measures.Just as Dickens used his story to highlight social injustices of the time, this author gets his message across with 3 ghosts and a pregnant teenager. Very thought provoking. I loved it!
I definitely agree Vigilante is a great book. I really enjoyed The Consultant (the second book). Unfortunately Mind Games (the third book) wasn't as good. However I'm still gonna carry on with the series.
I've read Six Geese A-Laying and it was nice!! Sophie Kinsella never disappoints! Still free on amazon http://www.amazon.co.uk/Geese--Laying...
This morning I finished reading Summer on the Mountain
http://www.amazon.co.uk/Summer-on-the...
and thoroughly enjoyed it. It's not free at the mo, but has been free at least twice so I'm sure some of you will have it on your kindles. It's a sweet romance.

The Long Midnight Of Barney Thomson Currently free on amazon
Loads of five star ratings Humour
Barney Thomson — awkward, diffident, Glasgow barber — lives a life of desperate mediocrity. Shunned at work and at home, unable to break out of a twenty-year rut, each dull day blends seamlessly into the next.
by Douglas Lindsay (Goodreads Author)

The Spanner: A Novella [Kindle Edition]P.A. Fenton (Author)
Dodges questions with the aplomb of a weaslie MP being cross questioned about fiddling expenses infront of a House of Commons Standards and Privileges Committee.
Like some else says "Not sure why I am continuing reading it" but it is only 111 pages.
Oh! It has just dawned on me why.......

I finished that lunchtime today.
I liked it a lot :) The "triangulation" scene was so funny.
Hi Guys,A book I got free and loved was Bunker by J M Rawbone. Reads like the love child of Stephen King and Aldous Huxley. I really enjoyed it
Hi everyone,I've read a few free books recently. The Phoenix Conspiracy by R L Sanders was an amazing read I think. The Phoenix Conspiracy
http://www.amazon.co.uk/The-Phoenix-C...
Not everyone likes it, but if you look at all those reviews it has you can tell it has caused some sort of controversy, which can only be good news for the author I think.
I've also read Impact Point by Simon Rosser. Also a good read.

Check on my goodreads blog to see my reviews for these books!
