Books combinedIs the cover of the paperback the same as the kindle edition?

In my case, my novel JERUSALEM MAIDEN simply appears twice! When trying to combine, I got a message that only a "librarian" can do it. I hate to bother my "librarian" at HarperCollins for every little thing. I'd rather keep my requests on her time for more important issues needing her attention.

Good reads has uploaded the wrong version of my Novel (The Triangle). The first edition has been retired and I have released a 5th Anniversary Edition (American Defense Force: The Triangle)which is part of the Defense Force Series. I want the original removed and replaced with the newer version, which only a librarian can do. How do i get a hold of a librarian to do this?

That said we do not remove books that are no longer published or superceeded by a new edition. This is a book cataloging site and people want the edition they read on their shelves, in the same way a librarian does not remove out of print or old editions of a book.
IF you link to the book via a non book selling site or provide book details some one will upload the new version also
My biggest problem has been in changing book covers - not only aren't they changed (I have four books) - but my new cover for Hawk's Gift is on my Paradise on the Horizon book on Barnes & Noble. I have received no reply to my queries on Goodreads and I can't change anything myself. I hope this gets straightened out soon and I would have thought I might have a reply by now (over a week).

Have you published new editions of a book with a new cover or changed the cover for and edition?
We do not change covers on books that have been published with a different cover to start with, we create an alternate cover edition without an ISBN. IF the book has a new ISBN then we add a new edition with that ISBN and cover

Thank you Paula. I will check again - the new cover of Hawk's Gift when I checked in Barnes and Noble - was a my Paradise on the Horizon book instead. Thanks for helping.

There seems to be some reuse of ISBN's going on which I am trying to sort out
The original ISBN # I got from the government offices in Canada is 0-9737244-1-2 long ago. I printed through Create Space and they wouldn't accept the number so they assigned #13-978-0973724400 and #10-0973724404. I don't have the ASIN # and am having trouble getting into my Kindle Account right now. I have written them to straighten this matter out too. Thanks Paula.
