i'm guessing the only safe bet on that one, if history's any indicator -- he's multifaceted.

If you ask Darryl, Julian is: annoying. Only he says it with his brows like this >>>8(

He's layered and full of one too many surprises. Some revealed during NSI and some others during SP. =D

Yeah, me too. I wish he'd cooperate and be less emotional right now, though. =/

Don't worry, they'll be fine with a little saddle soap and some effort on Darryl's part. It will give him something to do besides threatening to go home and find out what's happening with Julian. Apparently you left him in a rather difficult situation? He won't tell me exactly. Just rolls his eyes and tells me to back off, but I can tell he's intensely curious about what's going on while he isn't there.

Good morning Moe. I think I'm going off to bed now. I'm smiling imagining a room full of baffled people wondering why you want pink chaps. :D

LOL Me too. But I'm also smiling imagining Darryl and the word "effort" when it comes to cleaning.

And who says I don't already have pink chaps ;).

And oh Kate, you're gonna have some interesting months ahead of you if Darryl is already bitching about Julian.

Everyone with some sense of adventure should own something outrageous and pink.

Hugs! *beams and hugs back* and yeah, I love my kid-movies :D specially the Pixar ones. There's some scenes that have me in such fits of laughter that I just about pee myself ;p

Oh no, you did not just say that. Puns? This early in the morning. Hurts my under caffeinated brain.

*whispers back* No idea, but I think we are doing ok so far. We got her to talk to us *insane giggles*

Moekins13 wrote: "Don't run away Dani! We are normal, we swears! Right guys? :)"
I'm skeptical. Tim has an uncanny nag-ability. I don't want that to spread like a bad case of crotch lice. No one wins with crotch lice people. No one!
Marleen wrote: "Going into hiding? I thought that was what you were doing in Northern Sweden in the first place. Cut the phone and the internet and who is going to find you up there?"
I don't know that moving here was so much going into hiding as it was being hidden from the world by my damn viking husband.
Btw, why haven't you all entered my giveaway? Was it the books I chose? The slippers? The address requirement? Tell me *chinhands* what scared you off?
Ummm, I never enter giveaways and contests. Don't ask why, but I purely hate them. So don't take it personally.
The bunny slippers are cute! :D

Ah no, not personal at all. It was just my first one, so I wanted to see if it was the wrong choice to give away the slippers/books.
(I don't enter giveaways either. I don't even buy lottery tickets lol So I get it =D)

I linked to it on my status but the link didn't work doh. or it didn't turn into a link

BTW have you been approached by any of the popular mm romance blogs to review your book?

Is it too soon to reread?

Never too soon! I am on my third go :)

Actually, thinking that I was going to sell all of ten copies and most of those to my mom and her friends (who have yet to buy the book lol *facepalm*), I sent off my story to a couple of review sites. I'm LITERALLY nauseous while I wait for their reviews. LITERALLY. And I wish I hadn't quit smoking. Man, what a time to do that, right?
And that kiss is a very interesting moment in their relationship. I'm tempted to write it as a short story before NSI is released. either that or work it in as flashback, because the emotions and the tension and the guilt are all delicious. Cai is, after all, only 16 when that kiss happens. And Riley is 26. Very icky moment for Riley and one which he wants to wash clean, but one that he can't forget either.
Oh the angst. THE ANGST.
Aiko wrote: "I actually really love the title of SG. And this quote: I broke. It wasn't a visible fracture. I didn't sob or explode into anguish. I didn't give in to my vomitus urge that came from the burst of ..."
That was such a difficult moment to write, Aiko. Austin was so stoic on the outside, but inside he became a different person at that moment. A better person. Not that he'd show it. But yeah, the shift that happened in his thinking was palpable for me. Because he's so flippant though, it may not have shown up in his version of the story. =D
Moekins13 wrote: "Never too soon! I am on my third go :)"
Wow three times? That is an incredible compliment, Moe. Wow.

I'm probably in the minority that likes to reread even bad books (books I hated, not necessarily bad) I have this notion that even the worst of books have something redeeming.
MandyM wrote: "LOL I've already read it twice. It was great the second time around too.:)"
I think I started noticing real problems when I was on my 27th read. But, is it wrong to like your own book? Because I did find that after putting it down for a few weeks (while it was being beta'd) when I re-read, I enjoyed it again.

It might be cool to do it as a short story, but I hate writers that try to hook people that way, so I'm stumped. I need to work it out somehow =D.
I kind of like the idea of doing it as a promotional release ahead of the book. Create a little bit of a buzz, get people talking, but keep it separate from NSI where it doesn't really sound like it fits anyway?
