It's basically literary heavy metal with vampires that kill people, burst into flames, and don't whine about it. There's a love story in there, too, but it's not the one you might think it is based on the first book.

The other books in the series are: ReVamped, Crossed, and Burned (which just came out last week). There are also links to free fiction set in he Void City universe on my website.

I suggest "For Want of Chocolate" as a starter. It's about a newly tuned vampire realizing she can't eat chocolate anymore.
