url links to book sites

Hi

As a newly minted librarian I just wanted to check the policy relating to links to external book providers. I am about to update details on a number of books by Danny King (he has personally provided me with and given me permission to add missing covers and any other details that need updating), and has also given me links to his books which he self-publishes.

My questions are, am I able to add these links from each of the relevant books within Goodreads, and if so, should they be embedded within the description section or is there another mechanism for this?

There is the URL Field that can be used for links to the book author website or an official book page from the publisher in the first place. THere is guidance on the URL field

It should not be used to link to booksellers i.e. amazon, B&N, Book Depository etc
